Cindy, a staff member of one of the retail stores, was cheerful and gave good information on the Sydney experiences available!

At the Vivid Sydney Cruise they made a mistake changing the boat or not counting me and my husband in the boat. So I could not board and lose the cruise because of their mistake. When I tried to contact the website I purchase it to try to solve it, they were keeping saying that they were there and saying about people there to help etc, but no one was there to help, the spot was chaotic and my name and husband were not at the list. I was waiting for almost one hour for this boat and at the end, the loss was just mine, no refund or another cruise day was suggested, they did not assume their mistake at all. I do not recommend this trip for anyone. Just avoid at all cost.

Oh god, I wish I had read the reviews for this cruise before I humiliated myself by booking my father and brother on this dawn of the dead shopping mall on Boxing Day cruise. Bar staff are cool though,

By the time I have arrived, there were already people complaining, crew from the boat claiming that they don't have enough food and space for all of those people, conversion between the person who was giving tickets and a crew member happen to be right in front of me.I have stayed in the line for 25min to get a ticket as I was advised in a really nice" manner that I have to stay and wait like others...fair enough I did

On 05/06 I booked for 2 a vivid boat experience unfortunately Sydney weather lashed by wild storms, the roads have been closed across the entire city, trains, ferries and fights were affect or delay. the itourntix terms and conditions not allowed to rebooked the cruise tour around darling harbour. Shame on the company couldn't provide a good customer service for the customer who want to be safe and enjoy the vivid.

I bought tickets for the vivid cruise and when we saw the amount of people who were waiting to get on, it was ridiculous!!! The vessel came late. This was meant to be from 6-8pm. People were still trying to get on at 6.30pm! People were jumping the line. It was a farce! When we asked one of the staff handing out raffle tickets how many people are booked on this cruise, he said 1000! 1000ppl on that vessel! How was everyone meant get on and have a nice time? There were tables and chairs inside, which took up a lot of the room and what view were the paying guest meant to get? This was a joke! I’ll be asking for my money back. I know I won’t hear back. I even tried calling them before the cruise as the tickets didn’t tell me which wharf to be at and don’t bother trying to call them! They don’t answer or reply to text messages!!! Absolute joke this was!

Just came back from the cruise for vivid 2022. The review is more about the whole experience with the cruise, not VIVID Sydney itself.TLDR: the experience isn’t worth it. It was pretty crowded. Do something else with your money. It’s probably more worth to rent a hotel nearby or go to a bar and chill with music. The bad:1. The queue was very long when we got there.2. There is only one person checking everyone in the queue of our tickets, while in queue and waiting for the boat. When the boat arrived, the queue started moving, this is where things get eventful. I noticed 3 couples that jumped the queue. One of them just casually walked in front of us and entered the queue. The lady was happily telling her partner and boasting of not having tickets and trying to freeload on the boat. I assumed that there will be another validation at the entrance of the boat, but there was none! It’s so frustrating to see such things happen in front of your eyes. Not only do they cut the queue, they freeloaded as well.3. Being on the boat, there’s not much of a “million dollar view” that you can’t get while on land.4. The chairs were just normal stool, aligned in a straight line fashion, not v comfortable to sit on.What was the point of the buying the tickets and preparing the QR code if isn’t being validated before people enter the boat? How does the crew ensure that the boat isn’t overloaded? Are they waiting for a catastrophe before implementing proper measures? The good: the crew on the ship were all very helpful. From the bar that served drinks, to the fellows reloading the buffet.

I bought two tickets to the Two Hour Vivid Cruise with Standing Buffet. iToursntix was listed as Vendor for this experience with Luxury Escapes. My only comments about this trip are AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! It was anything but a luxury experience. The available space on the boat was designed to have seating to maximise patron numbers. Tickets for the cruise were not scanned on arrival, so making duplicates of tickets would be easy at no cost and getting entry simple. There was no greeting or organisation by iToursntix or the charter company at the wharf, nor were there any safety discussions at anytime. It was a very poor buffet selection and an insufficient amount for the number of patrons. The chartered boat staff were indifferent and had minimal interaction with guests. Vivid light displays (apart from passing boats) were quite distant, obscured apart from the Harbour Bridge. Walking the route on the foreshore would be a far cheaper and memorable experience. We walked away from the experience feeling the company's purpose for the cruise was purely maximum profit for little outlay. And it appeared we were not the only disgruntled customers. If you still wish to take the trip, The Star Casino tram stop is very close and an easy walk to the Wharf.
