Harrietville Cabins

We just had a lovely long weekend at Harrietville Cabins over King's Bday weekend (family of 6). The cabins are great value for money. Clean, warm (heating AND hot water bottles and plenty of extra blankets which we didn't need) and the kitchen well equipped plus BBQ on the deck. We also used a fire pit which was great for marshmallows with the kids. My partner fished and the kids and I just relaxed and explored the cute town. We'll be back!

Great location in a beautiful part of the world. Cabins are compact and comfortable. If there are two adult couples be prepared for one couple in a bunk bed arrangement.

We had a wonderful two nights at Harrietville Cabins. Meryl was busily mowing the grass when we arrived, to beat the impending rain. In the short time that we were there, we could see that she works quite hard. The cabin was also spotless.We had a cabin with a double and three bunk beds. It was fine for the two of us but it would be pretty snug for five people.The location is very picturesque, especially with the Autumn colour around. We took our bikes and rode the Great Valley trail to Bright and back (56Km round trip) - great, beautiful ride. It's slightly uphill from Bright to Harrietville but quite manageable. If you don't want to take your bikes or exert that amount of energy, you can hire e-bikes in Bright (seem to do a roaring trade).All in all, we'd happily do it again.

What a gem of a place. Spacious and fully equipped (bring your own towels - not a problem). This cabin had a feel of being 'home', and what a great setting - oh, the serenity :). Large master bedroom, with loads of wardrobe space, and a very nice queen bed. Large bathroom with walk in shower, windows out to the forest. Second bedroom fitted nicely with 2 bunks with 2 beds each. And a large living area with a full couch, dining table, full cooking counter/stove/fridge/sink, and all cooking and eating amenities, and a large window looking out to the mountains. Large deck fitted with a weber grill. It was hard to leave. I'm counting the days until my return. Highly recommended accommodation - you won't be disappointed.

My home away from home!

Beautiful environment with grounds perfectly kept. We have been coming here for many years and really enjoy staying in the spotless cabins, very well appointed with excellent heating and cooling. Having a campfire is a bonus. Owners, Meryl and Butch go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Can’t wait to return.
