I got good grass it was well watered and is growing very well

Sandra and the team were great to deal with. Communication was great, turf arrived on time and was in great condition. I ordered 260sqm of tif tuf and its been down for a month and looks great. Highly recommend.

I used to buy from them when i purchased on behalf of National Parks 10 years ago, no problems, rang a month ago for a price for Turf for front yard he was going to ring me back straight away, waited a week and tried again, same thing.Im wondering if they only do Commercial sales now that they are millionaires.I only want 21 squares,is their Sir Walter Raleigh better and cheaper than Bunnings or do they own Bunnings now??Anyone.

Done a personal job for these guys and only paid part of the bill. I'm sure if you done this to them it would be a different story. I think it is unprofessional and shows what type of business he runs.

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASEWe purchased turf for our front yard from Tyagarah Turf in November 2016. We specifically asked for Sir Walter Buffalo as that is what we already have in our backyard. We were advised they didn’t have Sir Walter, however the Buffalo they do have is so good that Sir Walter was trying to have them shut down. My partner advised we only wanted the best and didn’t want any sh**. We ordered 100sqm of their buffalo.In the meantime, we had the front yard excavated of our existing turf which was only mediocre quality. We had top quality top soil delivered and rolled the site level to near perfect. We spent close to $1000 preparing the area.On the day Tyagarah delivered the buffalo turf, with a few people onsite, we had it all laid in two hours and had the water on it most of the day. Within a couple of days, we knew the quality of the turf is the WORST we have seen. There was a receipt delivered with the turf (as we had paid over the phone) and when we looked at it, we saw it said ‘B Grade Buffalo’. My partner sent a text to the owner advising he had delivered us B Grade and it was awful. Full of weeds. We never got a reply.Over the next month, we used specific weed killers and fertilizers to try and fix the turf. More expense. We fill half our green waste bin with weeds every fortnight trying to get rid of them. There are about 4 or 5 different varieties of grass. One of the main reasons for re-turfing our yard is for our toddler so he can play on it. This turf even has bindii’s in it!!! It is worse than what we had before!We called Tyagarah Turf again in January 2017 to tell them how horrible the turf is and I was spoken to extremely rudely and advised someone would call me back. They have never called.I am happy to provide photos of the mounds of weeds we have had to pull out, the massive holes that are left over the yard, the different varieties in it, the dead spots… and a comparison to the beautiful Sir Walter we have in our backyard (purchased from Ballina Turf Farm) These photos are taken after 2 months of trying to bring the Buffalo to life. Wish I had of taken photos within the first month and before we spent all the $$$ on fertiliser and additional water.

This turf was nearly as disgusting as the human I had too deal with, unbelievable how pathetic and agrresive he was towards my wife, really be littled her because she was not sure on a few things! Please be warned everyone he is a aggressive man, very unkind. As for the turf it’s absolutely horrendous quality. Please let others know.

WARNING DO NOT BUY!The quality of the turf from this place has gone down over the years to a point its not worth using any of it. I had A grade with 30% of every roll arriving dead and absolutely every roll being covered in weeds. The owner then tried explain how great his turf is and how these weeds are standard in A grade. Absolute nonsense do not buy

Orders 200sqm of couch 3 weeks ago, grass was bad quality with at least 50% of the order having little to no soil base witch has resulted in a very uneven rough back yard. I called and emailed photos witch they said they would look into and get back to me, but have just ignored my emails and txt messagesGo elsewhere

I found the owner of this business incredibly kind helpful sympathetic to our needs and passionate and generous to a fault. The turf was excellent quality.
