When I first came to Sydney this is my favourite spot to chill and take photos !!! have such a nice view, can see the bridge and the opera house at the same time !!!

A beautiful spot. And it would be a great way to travel to balmain east... but the services of the ferry can be unreliable. Sometimes, it's late... And sometimes, it just doesn't turn up at all. They also don't tell you that it's been cancelled. So it can really mess up your plans. It's better to take the train or buses if you have appointments to get to, or don't have extra time to wait around.
