I saw David at Croydon Sports Injury & Spinal Clinic and overall had a very negative experience that left me upset and in more pain than I have been in days.David did not fully explain the procedure he wanted to preform for my lower back pain before he put the machine on my body and turned it on, causing me a lot of anxiety not fully knowing what to expect from this treatment. After this David left the room for approximately 25 minutes with no explanation of when he would be back or what to do if the treatment became too painful. He just left the room and I didn’t know when to expect him back which left me feeling again, quite anxious with a machine on me that I didn’t fully understand and nobody there to monitor the treatment.After David finally came back into the room he took the machine off and said he wanted to ‘open up the joint in my lower back’ which I asked him if he was going to crack my back because that’s not something that I wanted, which he answered that he wasn’t going to crack my back but was just going to stretch it out which I agreed to. But instead of stretching my lower back he put pressure on a particular point on my hip that caused a crack and was not a stretch at all.Overall I felt extremely uncomfortable leaving this appointment and very disappointed that I wasn’t fully informed of what treatment he wanted to provide before actually starting, and then to leave the room and not even ensure I was okay throughout the treatment, in my eyes as a health professional is inexcusable.Post this appointment I sent the clinic an email outlining how I had a very negative experience and stated that I was left in more pain than I had been in two weeks and was very upset with how I was treated, and I never received a reply. Overall, I would not recommend going to this clinic, beside the poor treatment I was given, the clinic is very old and not very clean.

I have a really uncomfortable neck and shoulder issue. So I went for a 30 min myotherapist treatment. I can tell my therapist have good skill but somehow he seems not interesting to focus on the treatment but chatting. I felt regret to chat back because my problem has not solved. I asked for bit more pressure but it ended like a relaxation and my pain is probably only drop like 5% and come back in 15min. I felt very sad and disappointed because i felt this 30 min is a bit waste of the time.

Booked an appointment with a physio, but not knowing I ended up with a chiropractor. Also waited 2 hours to be seen for only 10mins. Nothing was done except told to get a MRI. wasent happy and have gone elsewhere

I suffered a lot of back pain, but after two meetings with Dr. Patrick Guest , I was fine now and I can even work. thank you so much for your help

Following major foot surgery seven and a half months ago, I had physio for the next six months with Emma Wallace. Her knowledge and experience in treating post surgery patients gave me great confidence in her. Emma's physio treatment and advice were excellent, as were the rehab exercises she gave me. She was very caring and patient, and I would definitely recommend her to others.
