Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley

Was brilliant! Clean facilities, pool and kidsWater park fantastic and powered sites were large, plenty of space and very clean!Staff very helpful and lots of info! A wonderful getaway and of course the area was very beautiful, plenty to do & see other than just the wineries, but they were absolutely amazing!!

The rugby community came up and stayed for either 1 or 2 nights last weekend, and we had an absolute ball! Safe environment for the kids to run around, bouncy pillow, outdoor movie theatre for kids with beanbags, spacious communal area indoors and outdoors, plus so much more. Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to our queries. Our cabins had plenty of amenities and kept us warm during this cold weather. Will definitely be booking again.

We wanted a park close to town and wineries/eateries. Discovery Barossa ticks all the boxes. We opted for an ensuite powered site. So very glad we got an ensuite. It has to be the very best we have experienced. More like a motel, complete with fluffy towels, shampoos and all the bits and pieces. Best of all it was brand new inside and immaculately maintained.Feels good to complement rather than complain, a nice change.

We really enjoyed our stay and the facilities. We stayed for few nights before Christmas and even though the park was busy, the service was exemplary. The couple who manages the park and the team at reception were very friendly. My 9 year old enjoyed all the kids activities that were set each day and we have returned back with so many gifts he won and all the discovery Merchandise! We checked out on Christmas day and the trip from Mr and Mrs Claus that morning was an added bonus which made it end on a high as well. Thank you and wishing you all an amazing New year!

The Park is great and I particularly found the staff provided outstanding service. I would recommend to anyone travelling through the Barossa. The varied accommodation available is fantastic no matter what your budget or you preference.

On arrival we got to meet Tiff. Outstanding customer service and a very warm welcome. We got to our cabin an the cleanliness was excellent, we had a great view and felt really relaxed, the activity centre was a hit with our niece and nephew. Huge park and great service I can’t fault.

Large site with heated pool and good kitchen facilities and wash rooms. Very very disappointing to have children's gambling machines playing annoying music 24 hours a day in a social dining kitchen area - at least the coin operated arcade games are quiet when not being played - but not the gambling machines. Also a dangerous bolt sticking out which I brought to attention twice was not secured to a fence by the time I left - bolt was originally inserted with no nut so fence bar will fall out if lent on.

Just located outside Tanunda, you can get a cozy cabin in this place. The cabin is clean and comfortable has a kitchen, sofa, bunked bed and a large bed. Overall had a good experience here while visiting the Barossa.

A beautiful park in a very convenient location - super easy to walk into Tanunda and enjoy the bars, shops and restaurants, or get to any of the multitude of wineries. Facilities were excellent - except the trike we hired which was beyond its days (!!), staff helpful, the little one had a ball with the play areas and nightly big screen cinema. One downside was losing my black leather jacket - should anyone happened to have picked it up last weekend, I’d be grateful for it back - no questions asked.Sites were small - and there was a booking mixup but we did end up in a double site as a result which was the perfect size. No idea how we’d have fitted otherwise!
