Great piece of engineering. Interesting short walk with lookout.Can't help feeling more could be made of all Perth Hills reservoirs.

Nice up and down bush walk from car park down to dam for reasonably fit walkers. Some wonderful views out over the dam and lake, and the CBD is visible in the distance. There is a toilet block and a few picnic areas but that’s it. You can walk down to the base of the dam where is a pretty semi-swamp area fed by a stream full of birds singing. Nearby is the original dam with historical information plates. It looks as if at one point you could drive right down to the dam but the road is closed to ordinary traffic now.

Short walk from the carpark through bushland to get to some nice views of the city and Dam. There are a few tables and chairs for some packed picnic/ snacks.

Great hiking loop around the dam. Plenty of lookouts and interesting shrubbery. Lots of historical information to read along the way.The Victoria dam loop is a well marked trail that follows the creek and spillway, along unsealed roads and trails and up to the carpark and lookout.

About 15 minutes walk from parking. Peaceful , calm full of nature. Beautiful scenery, perfect place to escape city buzz . 30 minutes drive from perth CBD.

Easy to walk trail. Rather short if it's just to the Victoria Dam and back. But there are a few trails in the area which goes through the woods.

Beautiful place for a bushwalk, and some great picnic tables with a stunning view across the dam. Recommend getting there early to enjoy the misty mornings!

Not the most accessible for people using mobility aids in weekends due to several Water Corporation vehicle gates being closed with no alternative routes for adaptive walkers. Carpark not very accessible especially when full. The main wooden lookout not very accessible for viewing due to height of wooden balustrade. Otherwise a nice hike if you have the time along the main 7km loop.

Stunning spot for a bush hike or just stop in for a picnic . Public toilets but no shops so bring what you need.
