SLR Coatings

Excellent very professional

Wonderful bunch of very professional guys. Absolutely can't recommend them highly enough. If you have any high temp, abrasion resistant, dry lubricant or generally hard wearing coating needs, these guys are the guys to speak to.

I have had several products coated through SLR over the years and I would highly recommend them for their absolutely fantastic service and quality coatings, I could not be happier with the end results. I am now purchasing Cerakote and it is reasonably priced considering the conversion from AUD to USD, then factoring in International shipping and taking into account it's classified as dangerous goods for transport. Just a great U.S product and you get what you pay for, quality.

Poor way of doing things, order in U.S. then wait and get a call from Baker Family which I ignored because call not recognized. Now if I had a call from SLR coatings then that would be different because I would have expected a call from them better still just email an invoice. Then again why not pay at time of ordering??????

No one ever answers the phone, makes it hard to purchase coating materials. Been trying every other day since start of August.I'm not saying there is bad service just a voice message saying We can't get to the phone right now" and no opertunity to leave a message. Paid hundreds of dollars to have my brand new exhaust ceramic coated, not to mention freight cost, only to have it discolour and burn so bad in less than 400km I had to replace them . Biggest waist of time and money.

Fantastic customer service.They really take the time ensure you get the colour and result you are after.They sprayed out numerous sample colours and tests on stock they had.Highly recommended them for your powder coating needs.

BEWARE: Rip off when ordering Prismatic powder from USA. SLR is the Aussie contact for these powders and you are forced to order in the USA, pay in Aus with SLR and Prismatic send the powder directly to you. Thats fine as a process, but the rip off is that SLR take about 30% more money than the price listed on the Invoice you get from the US site after conversion to AU$ for the privilege. In my view it is NOT OK to take 30% extra money from us just to handle the finances here and my advice is to stop paying more and just order from someone else in the USA and have it sent directly. Yes I did email both SLR and Prismatic to let them know I wasn't happy and neither responded, so I guess they think its more than ok.
