Dion offers a wonderful service. I was impressed at the breakdown of information I received, and really appreciated Dion’s patience in the explaining everything in the face of my inexperience.I now know that my horse float could use some modifications to improve the balance of the weight (being an extended but without front storage, it’s a bit light in front), and that I can only take one horse at a time due to the combined weight of both big horses and double float exceeding its GTM. This was so valuable to me as I was largely focused on the towing capacity of my car and the GCM (towing newbie!), and might have unknowingly placed my horses, my family and other road users at risk.

Really happy with Weigh Station appointment with Dion. He replied promptly to confirm appointment, replied to queries, turned up on time and did a thorough job measuring car and caravan weights with his mobile equipment. Unlike public weighbridges, no calculations by me were needed. Report clearly showed car and van weights, and compared them with compliance plates to show that I was under payload limit for both car and van, also below GCM. Safety checks performed and advice given on towball download limit, loading and shackles. Consider using him as he can demonstrate years of experience in mobile weighing and road safety rescues. Wayne BeckwithThe best investment you can make when owning a caravan is getting your rig professionally weighed.I thought I was to heavy at the tow ball and had plenty of headroom in total weight as it’s just the two of us and we take bare basics. Nope!I thought the car was unstable because I am towing a bloody big van etc. But again Nope!Now everything is setup correctly the car is towing and handling like a dream with improved fuel economy and power.The ongoing after sales advice by Dion is awesome as well. Dion provided detailed but easy to understand information about how to correctly load our caravan and vehicle for safe travelling. He also provided a comprehensive report of the weight distribution of our vehicle and caravan including tow ball weight etc. Very helpful in knowing where we can safely increase our load if required.
