The Boathouse Hotel Patonga
Nice place to sit in the sun and enjoy a meal, priced in the high side but the food was well cooked and deliciousI had the salt and pepper squid for the price I shouldn't have to go and order chips (assumed they came with it like most places)We also ordered the cheeseburger that had a side of fries but the container they were in you could hand count the chips.All up it was a lovely afternoon and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly

Ate at the bistro. It's dog friendly, which is fantastic, and the leash-free beach is across the road. Huge range of drinks on tap, as well as reasonable wine options. Food was very good, with generous portions. I would say mains are $25-38pp, averaging at $30pp. Come early though, because there's usually a queue for a table from about 12 on the weekends.

We just had coffee one morning. It's not that far from the camp ground and the outside tables have a very nice view.Oh and the bathrooms are very well decorated. Congrats on the creativity

The Boathouse Hotel Patonga
I didn't stay here, just had coffee and lunch with friends. The fish and chips was too oily for my taste, there was a lot of airy crunchy batter and not much fish. For $35 I didn't think it was value for money. It was a beautiful atmosphere in a gorgeous location. I will go again and try something different on the menu and hopefully enjoy it better as I will be staying in the area for a while and want to enjoy the ambience there.

I did not stay there, just had lunch and walked around. Service was great, food was wonderful and the setting was fantastic. Nice hang out place with family or friends.

Went for a weekday drive and just a drink and a snack during the middle of the day and it was gorgeous. Sunny day, cider and that view is perfection. Didn't have much to eat but the staff were super helpful and friendly.

The Boathouse Hotel Patonga
Arrived at 11.30 on a Friday to ensure we could find a good table prior to having lunch....disappointed to see numerous tables remaining unclean from previous guests...tables also looked a bit shabby and could do with a spruce up.Apart from that , excellent location with views over the water.....great choice of drinks and tasty food.We thought about having a birthday function there but due to my earlier comments decided against it.

Great location across the road from the beach, and nice decor and atmosphere, but the food was underwhelming, especially for the price. Some of the food was 50%+ more than warranted - $35 for standard battered fish and chips, $43 for an average steak and chips (not even any salad). Quality of the pizzas was average and the range of toppings limited, though they were half price on a Wednesday night. Service was decent and friendly. A medium-rare steak came out medium-well, but this was quickly corrected after bringing to the staff's attention.

This place ticks all the boxes that you want in a hotel! Amazing location, amazing accommodation, amazing decor, amazing service and amazing food. Feels like you’re a thousand miles away from Sydney yet so close. I would highly recommend The Boathouse at Patonga for a stay - we’ll be back for sure.
