Absolutely terrible service. Took $6000 from me to deliver a 300kg, $30,000 package door to door from the USA to NSW, tried to charge me an extra $2500 to clear the package through Customs, sent the package to Melbourne instead of the correct address in NSW.... and when the package arrived they couldn't get it up a 10cm step into a Shopping Arcade so tried to leave it in the carpark. Southern Cross Cargo were always rude and unhelpful and couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. After not being able to find a solution to a step Southern Cross threatened, again, to leave my $30,000 package unattended in the carpark. In the end I had to find an alternative company that could manage to negotiate a 10cm step, and pay the extra myself. Absolutely hopeless company, if you like being blackmailed and abused and complete incompetence then by all means use Southern Cross Cargo.....if you prefer to actually get your package delivered, find anybody else.
