Fantastic forest area with great 4wd tracks. Steep to hilly. If heavy rain occurs tracks can be very slippery. Very limited mobile phone access. We took a sat phone. Nearest towns Wauchope and Walcha about 70kms.

Very winding road towing a caravan , most spots are 25km however lots of pullover places and emergencies phones . Beautiful drive .

Had a nice relaxing day at Apsley Falls with family. Bbq n a walk to the falls that were flowing beautifully.
