MSP Photography - Adelaide South

My year 8 son was missed for being photographed on three separate days. There is no way he was absent on all three days. This is his first year of high school so seemingly no picture of that for us. Receptionist suggested I could come and help out on photo days no regard for the fact that I actually work to provide for my family and that if an alphabetical list was used to mark off each student on the two initial days not just the 'make up day' given that all students need a picture for ID cards then maybe this would not occur in the first place. Some students may need additional following up if they get mistakenly sent away which an initial list would also prevent happening.

Pathetic service. Complete wastage of money. They are shooting group phots of my school going kids for two years now and I can’t believe how awful their photo quality is. Always extremely poor lighting and underexposed photos. Even an amateur can shoot better photos with a most basic camera now a days.

I have no idea how this business is still running. The worst quality photos and the same type of service.I don't remember ever receiving a class photo where children were properly shot. Group photos are the worst.Was late with my order of a school photo. I live close to MSP Norwood branch. Nevertheless, I was asked to send a letter with money in it and a prepaid envelope. Asked if I could pay over the phone and pick up later. Was refused in my request. The photo price doubled because of that. Sent all of the required things almost three weeks ago and have no response. Called today to follow up. Was asked to send an additional email, no information provided over the phone. No response. Called again. Was told that the disk is in the printing process. There were no excuses as if it'sa normal process to wait more than two weeks for one file. Not sure if there is a person writing manually each and every byte of information on a CD disk. Usually takes minutes if not seconds to upload a file to a disk. There were no promises that the disk will be sent soon. I was told that hopefully it can be sent by the end of this week. Have no faith in the timing.My only hope that SA Schools can find a better provider than MSP so that parents can have nice photos of children school time.

Don't know why the APS choose this msp photography compare for the other photography for the past years .They took worst photo ever for the kids. I always prepare my kids during school photos & attended each time they take the photos but I am not happy with their service. They didn't allow a parent to take a look after they took the photo of their child/children( previous photography they allow parents to take a look after they took the photos & if they're not happy they retake again) but for the teacher/s is okay that they are able to see it for themselves after they took the photo. It's really so UNFAIR! Just letting you know that us parents we pay for this school photos, PLEASE! do your job well! Take a photo of each kids properly so that we're not wasting our money for this. I am so disappointed with your service!!

Very very disappointing.. 2 years in a row the group shot of my daughters are so bad, I can't look at or display. My youngest daughter clearly been crying! One of the individual photos my little one had a dirty face, she's just turned 7 both photos are very noticeable.. I called the company to be told THE PHOTOS LOOKED FINE she didn't have red eyes and looked like she was smiling, then with a whole bunch of excuses, wouldn't even listen to me the customer. So rude. I regret giving them a 2nd chance after last year's photos being awful. I've bought top packages for the last the last 5 years or more... will never purchase again from this company..

Absolutely terrible photographs. All children look strained or stressed, just stretching" their lips pretending smile but really they look annoyed. The photographer is not capable of working with children. This has been the same problem for last 4 years since we started at school. Previously at childcare they used a different service and almost always got fantastic pics for most children. This MSP produces terrible photos 99% of the time

While we somewhat happy with our son's first ever school portrait photo (LOOKED LIKE HE WAS REALLY STRAINING) we were sadly disappointed that there was no traditional group class photo at all. Just a piece of cardboard with all the other students portrait photos printed on it. The pack we paid for didn't mention that we would be getting this and I'm sure the price wasn't adjusted to reflect the cheap cardboard rubbish they gave us.

Photos are consistently terrible year after year. It's like they scare kids for shot, or get them to make scary face or something silly like that, EVERY SINGLE TIME, almost every child in class looks anything but smiling. Warradale primary school uses this service, unfortunately. I would rather parents just send in pics of their kids from their phones and collate them into a class photo (which would be a mess albeit cute and smiling mess) then have these professionals" wreck kids faces."

I hated the last lot of photos from this bunch, and the pack prices are ridiculous! 1 photo is all I need not 15 that I have no use for! I'll take my own picture!

We've had years of school photos through msp. Always brilliant. They were also extremely helpful when our previous school failed to allow families to buy the year 7 photos. I had zero help from school but msp went above and beyond to rectify a situation that was in no way their fault. Our current school used a different photography business last year and the results were terrible with a lot of parents demanding retakes. Makes me value the quality of msp all the more. They even let my son have his teddy in the photo as requested.
