I do not recommend this salon. They are deceitful and unprofessional.I liked a photo on their facebook page and enquired about how much it would cost. I quoted approx $200-250 for: for foils, tone, smudge, cut and blowdry.I asked for foils, no toner only purple shampoo (as that’s what my previous hairdresser did and that’s all I needed), no root smudge and a haircut so I was expecting maximum $250 as I didn’t request a root smudge or toner.I was then told that slices would be better instead of foils. If I knew that it would result in the finish I received I would not have chosen slices. I have since sought professional advice and they have stated that the reason they may have chosen slices is that it is quicker. This made sense as the hairdresser said she had a dance lesson with her sister after she finishes. The professional has also stated it is poor quality work, that I shouldn’t have been able to leave with my hair in this state and there is no excuse for this level of work for a lady who had 42 years experience and was a previous tafe teacher.I could see the hairdressers face whilst I was in the chair and a hairdresser passing by that it wasn’t good and due to my anxiety and embarrassment of balling my eyes out crying in front of everyone in the salon I didn’t say anything as she is the professional and she can clearly see it. I got to the counter as quickly as I could without crying. She said it would be $305. I asked why is it that much and she said because it was a colour correction not foils. This was not mentioned earlier in the consultation and I have been getting foils for 10 years again and again but I couldn’t this time? I didn’t want confrontation and just paid and left.I sought professional advice and have since contacted the salon and have told them I am happy to pay for the cut and blow dry but would like to be compensated for the colour so I can go to a hairdresser I trust to fix it that will cause no further damage my hair.The owner then gave me a different story to what had happened, which wasn’t the case as the evidence was my hair that what they said didn’t happen. They said I should’ve had my scalped bleached? That is not what I asked for. They asked for me to come back to fix it which I have told them I feel extremely uncomfortable about due to being able to leave like this thinking it’s ok especially after 42 years experience, the distress and embarrassment it has caused me and then to be told a different story to what happened made me feel like I would be attacked because of their bad work.I have lost a substantial amount of sleep. It has caused me a great amount of emotional distress and has put me back financially as I had to pay for another hairdresser to fix it. I have had to cancel my birthday plans as I couldn’t get into a hairdresser I trusted in time.They stated they do not have a refund policy (which I have been advised by a professional is unlawful) and that they have spoken to the ACCC.I have provided them the opportunity to compensate me for the amount of the service which was not provided with due care or skill and it did not meet an “acceptable quality”. They have refused.Update: I’m sure if you had your hair completed to the standard I did and were treated like I have been you would also perceive the experience as negative. The lack of empathy and passive aggressive response adds to the attitude I have experienced as a result of your salons poor work and why I did not feel comfortable returning, it is unprofessional.I am not sure why video footage would be of any assistance.Your response comes across as a passive aggressive threat and further demonstrates the lack of professionalism. But thank you for your recommendation I am sure my review of my experience would assist in your recommendation. As you would have been aware I am doing hairdressing as a hobby on the side of my Bachelor of Science, your reference would not be to that of that level of work but thank you for the “suggestion”.

The ladies that work here are so friendly and accommodating. I've been able to book my sons and husband in at short notice every time. They have also been wonderful when one of my boys was a bit too young to sit still for the clippers properly. Highly recommend.

What was done to my hair, omg I'm so happy. I chose to cut all my hair off and went for a concaved bob, and it was done beautifully. Iv had so many comments from family and friends, even people on the streets. It's boosted my confidence.
