Please update your public bar staff on manners and service (2 females in particular) The customers should come first and along with the correct order of service whether sitting at the bar, standing or at the service section The gentlemen who choose to sit at the bar quite regularly need to learn they do not come first or always first and also need to learn manners They also need to be told or learn to get up and walk to the keno section if they would like keno service especially when the bar staff are busy We are regulars also , a smaller group of ours have chosen not to attend there anymore now the rest of us a larger group choose not to continue to attend there The 2 females are regularly lazy, rude, chatting, chatting, chatting and very very rarely clear tables We don't expect special treatment like some do get there but equal and quality service would be nice

Amazingly friendly & courteous wait staff!First time customer & will definitely return! Have already recommended to friends who live more local. Beautiful food, menu & reasonable prices.Great outdoor eating space even though small - decorations are spot on.

Highly highly disappointed at the service today. I have come here many many times with my family, Mother’s Day, birthdays, new years and many other occasions. At least twice to three times a month.When we arrived we were told to order with QR codes as we have kids, and kids get to eat free today. We ordered at 1:10PM and other members at 12:55PM. We waited an extraordinary 1 hour to get our food. While waiting we were asked if we were other people, as I believe they didn’t know where people were seated, but most of all, we were not told how long our food was going to be. Our Jug of Pepsi was not even sent to us until I asked. And the reply from the bar tender, “oh, you haven’t got that yet?”No mam, I waited 1 hour for you to pour soft drink from your tap into the jug.Moreover, while we waited, the floor manager who wanted to know where his food is supposed to go, didn’t even say anything about: “sorry there’s a wait.” “Won’t be too much longer …” or even, how much longer.We instead saw him standing next to the heat lamps with some of our food ready talking and joking and having a good old chat with the chef.And when it was 2:08PM, when my son got really hungry… we decided to tell them off, and conveniently the food under the heat lamp started to our table.No apology from any of the staff, I guess it’s common practice now.So here’s my question:1. Did you purposefully let us starve?2. Was your joke funny while we starved? Should have shared it with us while we starved, would’ve made us felt better.

First visit to Hotel HQ in Underwood. It looked nice and spacious inside, with outside seating options too. We were seated next to the kids play room so no prizes for guessing where the boy disappeared to!Our order:* 250g rump steak, $27 - Thousand Guineas Shorthorn, 150 days grain fed, marble score 2+ MSA graded beef with chips & salad, dianne sauce* market fish, $27 - roast chat potatoes, crisp pancetta, almonds, green beans, carrot puree & mustard cream* build your own kids meal $6 - cheese pasta, chips & broccoli, mayoGotta say that this is probably the best value kids meal we've come across, and with a good variety of options including vegetables too. I don't think the cheese pasta itself was fantastic choice, but it was the boy's pick and as long as he ate some veg along with it...The adults enjoyed their respective meals - wifey the steak, me the fish. The steak was cooked fairly well, as was my salmon, which included some nice crispy skin. I wasn't a fan of the pancetta but enjoyed all the other elements on the plate. Overall a pretty decent bistro and a potential revisit option.

My Fiancé and I decided to go out for a nice dinner and we were both looking forward to it until our food service was Incredibly poor! She ordered the drinks off her phone and I ordered the food off my phone, it was just the two of us, anyways her meal came out first, then about 15-20 minutes later mine came out! All they could say was “oh so sorry it came through as two separate orders” yeah right nice excuse! No offer to refund or anything! Safe to say we won’t be going there againAlso when I got my steak with creamy garlic sauce, the sauce tasted like flourWaiter staff bringing the meals out didn’t even know the numbers or the tables, they were walking around clueless trying to find table numbers

Great location. Great atmosphere. Great range of products at amazing prices. The 250g rump steak was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes was amazing and the vegetables were perfect. The mushroom sauce was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy

The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I have been their a number of times now with both family and friends and we have never been disappointed. I also don't live locally and pass many other food and beverage places. I have recommended this place to many other family and friends.
