Southwest Tyre Service

Went there yesterday to get tyres swapped over, got told that the tyres I had brought in wouldn’t fit on the rims as they are apparently too narrow (not the case as they are now on the rims thanks to someone else) and diagnosed my car with an incorrect problem, I was charged $50 for them to put my car on a hoist and tell me I had a loose steering rod when actually I had a separated tyre. Was sent away with a worse problem and a flat that they didn’t even see.

Disgraceful service from manager of SouthWest Tyre Service, after his obvious error. He ordered the incorrect new steel rims for my work boat trailer, even though they had the actual trailer on the premises at the time to check before ordering. They had advised me to upgrade from alloy to steel, which I accepted. Had to ring 6 weeks later to see if the rims had arrived, which they had, but no contact was made with me as the manager advised he didn't record who they were for, after over 20 years of dealing with them. When fitting them to the boat trailer, rims were incorrect size for tyres. I immediately phoned the manager and when I returned a week later, was told I had ordered wrong rims and unless they were in the original box, no refund. Incorrect. He ordered the wrong rims. Rims were in pristine condition, never removed from plastic bags, once we realised they were incorrect size. Unfortunately, the original boxes had been recycled immediately. I even went and got 2 other boxes, from another tyre business, but still no good from managers viewpoint, as not exact original box, even though they had 2 more identical boxes in workshop to write the product on the boxes I provided. Unbelievable and then I was accused of “holding a gun to his head “ on my 3rd visit to resolve the issue, after going there for over 20 years. No responsibility for basic error, nor any offer to assist or resolve. So I drove out with two rims of no use to me, took a loss of $260. Even tried emailing after all this, but no reply, so never to return again. Such a poor business decision really. When I make an error in my business, I ensure the customer is immediately recompensed to accept responsibility and ensure the relationship is maintained. Simple!”

Amazing service from this company who dropped everything to attend a call out to fix our very deflated tyre and broken valve. We really appreciate your service!

Fantastic service here. I got stuffed around at the Bridgestone shop who could only tell me that I'd have to get my valve sorted when I get back to Perth. These guys got it fixed when they were so busy. Really helpful. Would recommend for sure.

The staff are great, the owner/manger John is so rude, can not believe the way he spoke to me, my first time there I thought maybe he was having a bad day, today's visit he was just as vile. Never going back there again. To the staff who work for him, hats off to you guys for going to work each day when he speaks you all so disrespectfully with his abuse. He is a total pig of a man.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was first verbally abused and belittled by the owner and then physically handled and threatened to have my nose put through my face" by one of the staff members. All because I kindly asked if I could recycle some broken printers that he had in a skip bin at the side of the property. I don't make profit from it
