i can see why JB removals google rating is so high at 4.8! these guys were terrific. we hired packers, movers and unpackers over a 3 day period. day 1, 3 men packed non-stop for 10 hrs to get us ready for the move (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 storey terrace). Kevin, Rod and Andy were professional, efficient, friendly and easy to work with. we usually do the packing ourselves but im pregnant so had to hire help for the first time and it was well worth the cost.then the next day, we had 3 men (Kevin, Carlos, Felipe) do the actual move, which also took them 10 hrs of non-stop work. we moved into a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom 2 storey semi so there was more space to unload into, plus just 400 bottles of wines alone, so that took a while. there was only 1 broken plant vase and 1 Riedel wine glass which i think is unavoidable in any move. the insurance only covers the big ticket items and the excess is $1k, so just be mindful your small items won't be covered.the guys did everything from start to finish, including un-assembling the bed, dining table, coffee table, and took down all our artwork, big wall mirrors and paintings properly. on the other side, they re-assembled all the furniture for us as well (which not all removalist companies do). we have moved plenty of times over the years and have used many different moving companies and these guys were definitely the best.if you are looking to hire removalists and comparing the cost/service, go with these guys because their cost comes with all the packing materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, tape etc). other places will give you a set number and then charge you as you need more, which can blow out your final cost. if you are moving a house and not an apartment, it is so difficult to gauge how many boxes and packing materials you would need.(the only part of the service that was a bit of a let down were the unpackers on day 3. again, we would normally do the unpacking ourselves but since i cant bend over and lift things out of boxes, or stand for a long time or climb onto step ladders to unpack into high shelves or move boxes myself, we opted for the unpacking service as well. just manage your expectation if you are using this service as they will do the bare minimum of literally unpacking things out of boxes and putting them into closets/cabinets/drawers/storage spaces in each room.but there will be very little or no sense of organisation and you will definitely have to redo it yourself when they are done to make your house actually functional/liveable.they did not have a good sense of unpacking into spaces efficiently, or grouping items into shelves that might make sense together and although the initial plan was to have them unpack every box, i had to call it after 5 hrs because i saw that i was going to have to redo every room anyway. i tried to be specific about which box/items should go into each room/drawer/closet/space etc, but that took way too long. and it caused one of the unpackers in particular to complain and be vocally disgruntled for most of the day. even though she did it in a different language, it was clear from her tone and mannerism that she wasn't happy about having to unpack the items in a specific way.)overall, i would definitely hire the packers and movers from JB Removals again, they were fantastic, A++ job, guys. thanks!!

Felipe and Filipe did a great job. Service was fantastic, they were on time, very responsive, fast and efficient. Very helpful with some large items and they made everything work. Move went great, cheers lads.

Great job. Took great care of old piano difficult site, concrete, grass, gravel, steep old driveway, no problem with their tilting track machine.Highly recommend.

I have relocated with JB on three separate occasions over the years.The office team were responsive and quote was right in the ball park of the end invoice. The difference was only half an hour which is great for when working to a budget.The removalists, Rod and Filipe Campos, were extremely careful with the walls and big ticket items. Very appreciative of their work.

I have been helping a family with relocation from overseas. I hired JB Removals and was so happy with the two crew . Gui and Santiago - from 8 am to 5 pm they moved a whole house of furniture including assembly of all bed frame furniture - took the huge amount of cardboard and rubbish to the tip as well - This is an excellent company and these two were the most helpful and capable people for this job. Moving is hard BUT they made it so much easier.

We were very impressed by the professionalism, experience and politeness of all the staff who came and moved our home. Although there were stairs, the job was done without complaining. They have also assisted for the extra work we requested. We will definitely recommend them for the ones who are looking for a good removal service. Thanks for the job well done.

I was extremely happy with JB removalist. My mum who lives in Carcoar arranged for this company to help me move from Sydney to Carcoar. The company kept me informed at all times on what was happening. They arrived on time and Ali and his team worked hard and were very professional and extremely polite and friendly.
