My husband and I usually order GYG 1-2 times a week from the Burleigh store but we will not be back after our last subpar experience.This store has really gone downhill over the past six months and the reviews reflect that.Highly advise against wasting your time and money at this store. Unless if you like to get ONLY beans and rice on your takeaway burrito and have to go back to the store to request what you actually ordered, wait a further 20 minutes to make the right order whilst staff members are standing around and eating cake behind the counter, to be charged for food that you did not order, to not be refunded for those items charged for, to get smaller than standard portions of the burrito bowls, to eat at dirty tables when you eat in and to be served by teenagers who seem to have no idea what’s on the menu. Doesn’t sound appealing right?!

I am so upset right now. I ordered 3 enchiladas, 2 burritos and 2 Mexican colas but after a 50 minute drive home there was only 2 enchiladas and 1 burrito with no colas in the bag. Half my family missed out on the meal I paid for.!!! CHECK YOUR BAGS !!!

The food in this store is the best one of all the GyG. I really love GyG and always eat in any store near me, but the food on this one is different. It is really the best one. Really fresh, tasty, and good portion.

Absolutely terrible the worst Mexican and Guzman y Gomez I've been to. Takes ages to get a burrito out that is cold and has nearly no chicken in it. The drinks are warm from the fridge. Chips aren't too bad when they're served hot. Just avoid this place.

I have recently discovered that the staff at this shop spit in customers food if they don’t like you in fact I’ve seen it out of the corner of my eye. I have spent a lot of money at this over the last few ever since it opened. I highly recommend that no one ever go there again.

literally can NEVER get your order right. Asked for meat to be replaced with beans multiple times as i’m vegan, took a big bite out of it only to realise i had just eaten CHICKEN… not once did i mention chicken. something like this happens every time i go.

This is the worst Guzman outlet. They can never hear your order, frequently mess it it up, long waits and unfriendly staff. Most recently I ordered two mini burritos, one of them just had guacamole and rice on it and no filling. See the difference in the photo. Other Guzman outlets are pretty good but this one is average at best.

What's happened with the Burritos? they've gotten super small! No sense of urgency and had to wait forever. The public holiday surcharge is a rip off. And why can't I have the coriander etc IN the burrito. G&G has become a joke

Have come here on multiple occasions ordering vegan Meals from their menu. Despite stickers being correct on the meals you bite into the meal and it will have meat and cheese on it. The 10 year olds who work there just laugh and say I’ll re make it. Took them 4 tries to make the taco I wanted. Not just a once off screw up this has happened every time I have been here. Maybe try employing someone with a brain.
