Auto Care Ocean Grove - Repco Authorised Car Service

Have had my hilux serviced here multiple times. The drive belt was changed and squealed from the get go. Returned twice requesting they look at it and they stated there was no problem. I tried another mechanic who informed my that the belt was routed incorrectly. I also found bash plate spacers and bolts missing and threads stuffed after an oil change.

Outstanding! Could not be happier with the quality of service and the knowledge and expertise of the mechanics keeping my Hilux running like a dream. Special thanks to Harry and Em, always going above and beyond to provide the Hilux with the specialist service and care it needs. Cheers guys

These guys are great! I was warmly greeted upon arrival, then after I had left and they had checked over my van, they called to check that I was happy to go ahead with the work they recommended - answering questions I had. They then called when the work was complete, offering to pick me up from Barwon Heads. Back at the workshop, I was given a run-down of the work they had completed explaining what was entailed for the next service interval.Highly recommended.

We have been using this service center ever since we moved to Ocean Grove 10 years ago.They have gone above and beyond to insure we receive the best communication and that all extra work required on our cars is quoted and communicated before it is carried out.I would highly recommend these guys and thank them for there reliable and honest service over the past 10 years.Also thanks for looking after your customers so well over the covid period the car pick up service from people's house was brillant.

Not very trustworthy and happy to take work there not competent with. Rang up and said I need my glow plugs changed and injectors tested, obviously they needed to diagnose the glow plugs themselves and didn't trust my word costing me 200. Then was advised they don't have the gear to test injectors.Later that day another phone call advising me all the glow plugs are really badly siezed in the block and if proceeding a 50/50 chance of one snapping which would result in the head having to come off and thousands of dollars later, or he could proceed but the original quote of 500 would probably be doubled or trippled, so I said put it back together and I'll do it.Just finished the job myself taking 1.5 hours none of the plugs were siezed, none were broken it did take a bit of back and forth, but what might of added 40 mins on to replacing glow plugs how can a quote of 500 turn into double or tripple.Won't ever be returning or recommending to anyone for more then a oil change

These guys are a life saver! Customer service above and beyond. Our car had an unexpected fault two days before going on a road trip and our mechanic chased parts and fixed our car (as well as being fully booked) so we could still head off as planned. We can rely on, and trust Auto Care OG!
