Bloom Design & Landscaping

I had Nathan (Owner) out to do a site visit March 22 and discuss a few options and desires. I spoke about how my budget is priority and im looking for someone who won't blind side me with exorbitant costs after promising me something else. Nathan assured me they will design something to my budget; so all good there. I had Cici email me with some forms to fill out which covered my wants, needs, likes, dislikes but most importantly it asked what my budget is. I filled it out and sent it back to Cici. Cici replied by also asking for any inspirational photos I might have. I obliged; I noted in the email about wanting quite a lot of fancy things but also stressed that my budget is priority and that any photos I send through are simply possible ideas and are only to be included if within my budget. Cici replied a few weeks later saying my current budget MAY not cover everything so I agreed to increase my budget by 20%-30% and nothing more was said about costs. About a month later I recieved concept designs of my landscape and omg they were beautiful, absolutely loved them. There were items in the design that I didn't ask for but assumed it was within the budget as I kept mentioning how my budget needs to be stuck too. I agreed with the designs and proceeded onto the 'quote' stage for construction. A month or 2 later Nathan sends and email with a total cost that nearly tripled my budget. When I questioned this and about sticking to my budget and not wanting to be blind sided; I was to blame according to Nathan. I wanted x y & z so it was my fault for the budget blow out. There was stuff in the design I didnt even ask for. When I responded referring back to my emails about sticking to my budget and anything I ask for is only an idea and not a must and I even questioned as to why that IF I was demanding for all this stuff to be included, why was no one informing me that im going to go over my budget; I recieved no response. When I asked about re designing, I got no response. The third time I asked I got a 'we're working on it'. I received new designs from Samuel who was great through the whole process. In that same email Samuel said that thier construction team is behind and all of a sudden it will be a minimum of 8 months before my project could begin and to tender my project elsewhere. I personally called Samuel and he confirmed that it was simply Nathan not wanting a bar of me and it was his way of telling me to go away. I did recieve construction drawings from Samuel which will now allow me to go to someone who is professional, someone who can read and comprehend emails and someone who takes ownership of thier mistakes. If you chose to go with Bloom, you run the risk of dealing with Nathan's manipulative, childish, non professional side. I'm sure Nathan will reply at some point refuting this and still blaming me. If he does I'll upload the emails showing otherwise. Take some accountability Nathan.EDIT TO THE REPLY.You guys told me to go elsewhere I was happy to wait as along as needed but hey, anything to shirt accountability and the fact Nathan is a tantrum throwing toddler. If Nathan is not the owner, maybe he shouldn't tell me he is then; Also maybe inform the staff of this aswell, because when I asked to speak to someone higher than him, I got told multiple times he is the owner and there is no one above him.My god, take some accountability for once in your life.

We engaged Bloom D&L to design our backyard pool and landscaping. Knowing it was going to be a challenge due to our sloping backyard full of natural rocks, we kept our expectations low for what could be achieved. Nathan's enthusiasm, vision and amazing design ability managed to created a space my husband and I could never imagined possible. The design was presented to us with absolute professionalism and excitement from the team including mood boards and concepts drawings which bought it to life for us. We walked out beyond excited that he managed to work with nature not against it, incorporating the beautiful rocks and natural slope of our block really impressed us.Nathan and his team of designers and drafts people were brilliant to work with, they were polite, professional and looked after every aspect of the CDC application. The whole process went seamlessly and with providing us with regular updates we were never left wondering were the application was up to which is so rare these days.We feel so fortunate to have found a team who are just as excited about the project as we were and this has made this stressful process really enjoyable. We cannot recommend Nathan and his team from Bloom more highly.Bring on the front yard plans!!

Design not to budget (estimated cost is double the budget discussed). Sent numerous emails over almost 12 months to discuss possible resolution with no response from anyone at Bloom! Simply ignored us once they had their money! Very unprofessional behaviour, proceed with extreme caution!!!There seems to be a very common theme here!!! By the way I noticed no response to my review even though I didn’t go with anonymous! 12 months on and not even the courtesy of call or even an email! I believe in Karma so what goes around comes around Nathan!

We live in a house on a hill and had an extremely difficult site for our outdoor renovation project. Nabil and his team designed the most beautiful and functional outdoor space for us, and completed the build with the utmost professionalism - shielding us from the extreme challenges, finding brilliant solutions to all the problems. We now have a gorgeous outdoor space with new resort-style outdoor living. It has changed the way we live here. Highly highly recommend!!

Nathan and his team were nothing short of incredible. When I first called bloom I had no idea what I could do with what was definitely the worst house on the street, and so nervous on what it would cost. The girls in the office answered every question I had with patience and care. I really appreciated that their process was broken up into sections so I didn't have to commit to everything all at once. When I met Nathan for the consultation he completely put my mind at rest. Every question was answered, even questions I didn't know I had. The boys in the studio worked with me on the design, showed me every option, and nothing was to much trouble. I changed the deck three times and Samuel didn't mind at all. The build quote came in slightly over budget but that was because I added some extra items and went with an expensive tile. Samuel advised me beforehand and offered to make adjustments to keep it on budget but I preferred to spend the extra as it just looked too good. I feel sure that had I chose to make the reductions this would have been fine. My build is scheduled for later this year and I'm beyond excited, definitely worth the wait. I had two other companies quote and they were all about the same.

Just want to say a big thanks to Nathan and the design team they designed me an absolute gorgeous backyard can’t wait till we get council approval and we bring this amazing design to life.

We recently engaged the Bloom team to give our backyard a complete makeover. After several meetings with other landscape and construction companies, we quickly realised that Nathan had incredible vision and understood our brief from the get go. Wanting to bring that vision to life and for the extension not to feel like an ‘add on’, we knew Bloom Design and Landscaping would be best suited to do this. Our high expectations were well surpassed. The quality of workmanship, the professionalism throughout, and the entire team’s commitment to excellence and attention to every detail was evident through months of pouring rain and most especially in the finished product. Couldnt be happier with the team at Bloom. I was so well looked after right from the very first phone call. The design they came up with was so much more than I ever expected I could do, and they took care of council and everything. The boys during construction were always polite and respectful of my home, Jake answered all my questions and just took care of everything. I couldnt wait for Xmas and have already had everyone around to show off. My backyard is so beautiful and perfect I feel like I live in a magazine. I really cant recommend them enough
