Great facilities. Shower and toilet block clean. Great water pressure. Kitchen amenities exceptional. Perfect wood fire. Best one been to in Tasmania.

Dated, unwelcoming and ugly. Tiny gravel sites with awful amenities. Being the only caravan park in the area shouldn't mean you invest nothing in improving it for 50 years!Move onto Strahan - much prettier.

This is easily the best maintained caravan park I’ve ever been too and is insanely good value for money! If I could give more stars, I would. We paid $25 for our unpowered site, which was nice and flat, with a lovely backdrop of platypus painted on the fence, and of course the beautiful mountains in the distance. The ladies bathroom was excellent! Very clean and finished with thoughtful touches. The shower was AMAZING - perfect pressure and temperature, rubber anti-slip mats AND proper fabric bathmats were provided (cleaned after every use).Highly highly highly recommend staying here, and if I’m ever in (or remotely near) Queenstown again I will be coming back!

Perfect base for visiting the West Coast Wilderness Train! It's not much more but a gravel park, but the facilities are nice and the welcome was great. Hope you see the baby wombats soon Tilly!

This is one of the best amenities I have seen. Camp kitchen has everything you want in it. Pot belly stove that is light at 5pm every day.Showers & toilets spotless. They even have bath mats that you put in a basket and next day all fresh ones to use. Only complaint sites are very close to each other. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff greeted us on arrival. Information provided on local attractions. We stayed in a cabin, it was an older style cabin and was a bit squishy for our family of 5 (3 older children). Fly screens to cabin windows need to be replaced/repaired so windows could be left open over night. The park was clean and well presented though.

The owners were very friendly and helped us survive what would otherwise have been a very wet night. Good showers and rooms too. Would recommend.

I was so excited to be in Queenstown what a beautiful spot. This was the perfect base and so much care is put into the place. Bathrooms and showers look so handmade with love, decorated so nicely, with wonderful hot showers. Loved the added touch of getting your own bathmat. Cosy camp kitchen both a sheltered outdoor one and an indoor one with a fire lit every day. It was wintery and raining while we were here but even without power (decided to brave it haha) we had a comfortable care free stay. The lady was so friendly and warm too, I think owner? lovely to communicate with and ask for anything we needed. Thanks so much Queenstown.

This caravan park is a relic of the 1960s-1970s, and is basically a sloping gravel yard with mainly token greenery in tubs. The sites are so small (packed like sardines) that it's not possible to park your car on your site if your caravan awning is extended. The park does not adhere to the Australian 2.4m site spacing standard. The concrete-block amenities building seemingly hasn't been renovated since it was built more than 50 years ago, and should be gutted and rebuilt to 21st century expectations.
