Serviced a gearbox on one of my few classic cars and did a fantastic job. When I booked for the next service they didn’t want to touch it saying it’s too hard. Real shame considering I got my car back previously from them like brand new and recommended them. Now have to look elsewhere

Don't waste your time and money on them. My car was returned in a much worse condition, completely undrivable. They took zero responsibility, and not only denied assistance but actually left me at the counter mid conversation and locked themselves in their office so I'd leave! Their despicable workmanship and customer service ended up costing me over $5000 and alot of stress. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this place!

I got an outstanding service form West Coast Automatics. They were very approachable and explained clearly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Also, despite a more difficult repair than anticipated, they stuck with the first quote that was given to me. They could have easily said to me “….we had to change this and that, that’s another $1000” but they didn’t. I have no hesitation in recommending West Coast Automatics.

Said they wouldnt even look at my car while they walked around doing nothing and i need to book a month in advance.Just driving there wrecked my car.No interest in helping people, not until you accept the invoice and start payment after waiting inline for a month. I dont dislike them personally but you should know if some one suggests them as the best, they may be correct but you would be better buying a new car then asking them to fix it.I am a tradesman and iv had people down the rd ask me to check their ceilings while i am on the job.And guess what, i go have a look during lunch break or at the end of the day and i give the best advice truthfully weather you want to hear it or not for free, because that is the attitude of a real man with skills, never turn your back on those in need.I had a mechanic on his morning coffee save my car for $100 cash instead of $3000 transmission replacement.

Excellent and professional service, customers service and expertise. Ken and the team were recommended to me by a well known retired Perth transmission rebuilder. Westcoast rebuilt the complex DSI 6spd electronically controlled shift adapt automatic in my 2013 Ssangyong Actyon Sports Ute. The transmission overhaul was cost effective and the transmission now works better than new. Could not be happier with the service provided.

I had a performance gearbox rebuilt due to trans cooler failure, Ken and his team assited me the whole way through and further on with out fuss everytime. Ken and his team also found other faults in the drive line which he advised me on how to proceed. I've taken my partner's car there just for auto trans service aswell, 18 months later and it's still smooth. Highly recommend these guys for any transmission type of work.

Was awesome very helpful in getting my car in asap to get my rear diff looked at and fixed, did an amazing job was easy to deal with and the car drive ten fold better after they did their work as well as going the extra mile and fixing a few other things outside the scope of the job it was booked for. Couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anyone

Ken from WC Automatics is a superstar. Somehow squeezed us in and investigated every avenue with our gearbox issues before replacing the mechatronic unit completely. He must have completed this job at a loss as the value for money was unbelievable.
