Kandos Museum
A great museum full of local history and exhibits by local artists. The staff are very informative and friendly. It's very surreal to be standing there and seeing the lives of all the people that shaped this region.

Kandos Museum
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Kandos Museum. Fiona, the local volunteer, took the time to tell me a lot about the former Plant and the town itself. It was fascinating to talk to her. I can also recommend the tea towels that they sell. They're a perfect souvenir!

Excellent country museum, showing the social and industrial history of Kandos, famous for making the finest quality cement in the world. Beautifully preserved and displayed items, with a cafe and parking. A must-see when you visit this town.

Kandos Museum
An amazing museum that tells the story of the local area so well! A must see if you are in the area. The collections have been thoughtfully put together to tell the many stories of the local area. Even the location of the museum is lovely: on top of the hill just set back from the town with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The staff are volunteers and very friendly who are happy to take you around. Really a lovely little museum in this little town.
