Fantastic introductory glass blowing class with friendly and helpful teaching. We made a paperweight and small glass tumbler and keen to continue to the intermediate class as well.

Absolutely amazing studio. Brilliant glasswork. Left with two new beautiful upcycled glasses. Handcrafted and dishwasher safe! Recommend giving Ruth Allen to take a look

Fantastic intro glass blowing course, Nick looked after us and we all had a great time learning about techniques plus fun times. Thank Nick and Ruth for the awesome experience, I'm in love with my glass treasures!

We had an introduction into glass blowing at Ruth's studio and it was WELL worth the experience. Had a great time and can't wait to pick up our creations tomorrow!!!

First of all the course conducted not by Ruth Allen. She appointed someone else to do that for her. I was doing paper weight and small tumbler blowing workshop. Very strange that we was offered just clear plastic glasses for the protection of our eyes. The fire of the kilns was very very bright and proper sunglasses would be the best. Our teacher seems to have an issue of offering enough of glass frit to the students , obviously he wanted to save as much material as possible. When i wanted to use more of glass frit he said that i took too much , in reality my tumbler turned out almost clear in the result. I do believe that teacher was rushing with the time and did not care how our paperweight or tumblers will turn out. The paperweight weight only 250 gr. which is the most tiny paperweight i have ever seen.All of our works turned out crooked. I do not recommend this course at all.

We had the most wonderful morning learning about glass blowing! Nick, our teacher was a total legend! Everything about this experience was amazing... and we VERY easily found the studio.Thank you Nick. And thank you Ruth. :)
