Aaron's served us at the The Bavarian. Aaron was a great host and he provided us with exceptional customer service. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He took the time to chat with us and gave us some recommendations on what to do in the local area. His advice was extremely helpful and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay in the area. Aaron's kind and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home and he displayed great customer experience throughout our time at the bar. Aaron went above and beyond in his service and we were very impressed with his professionalism and hospitality. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great bar experience. The service was bad and the staff were inattentive. The bartender didn’t seem to know much about the beer they were serving on tap. Both of our salads were so oily that the greens were soggy and inedible. The only redeeming qualities were the view and the hot chips.

If you like pork knuckle cooked properly, then this isn't the place for you!Crispy skin and presentation, good. Meat, tough and under cooked, the fat not melted at all, not at all tender or appropriately prepared... sorry.This is the second time I tried it there...''don't judge a one off!''The exceptional beer and attentive waiting staff saved this entry to two stars...

Overall great experience, from start to finish. The bartender (Aaron) recommended the tastiest of cocktails, he has great taste and lovely eyes. I'll be back ;)

Perfect place to enjoy the beer and wings. Customer service is too good. Location is accessible. It is spacious and if you are lucky, you will also have an option to sit and enjoy the view next to the window. Highly recommend.

Gross. Without question the driest, most disgusting parmi I’ve ever had. It was clearly stale and pre-made and heated up just prior to serving. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mash - that unmistakable texture and taste of packet mashed potato. Two of the sides weren’t available, so we picked calamari which was so rubbery it must be ancient and was drowned in oil. The side salad wasn’t available with my main (the 3rd item on the menu not available!) hence I chose the gross mash. We booked an outdoor table but were seated indoors right next to the gas heater that nearly burnt our faces off even though there were plenty of tables outside. Wine was warm. Staff looked like they were dying inside and had lost the will to live. The guy serving us was doing his best and I felt sorry for him. I feel sick even writing this because the food was so bad and the opposite of fresh. Needless to say we did not finish our food. If you want stale, dry, disgusting food and warm drinks in a grimy old restaurant then go ahead and eat here. Trust me, there are much nicer places to dine on Manly wharf.

If you’re in the mood for German food and beer this is the place. Caught a beautiful sunset here before hopping on the ferry back. Gigi was so helpful and helped us look up ferry times back so we didn’t miss the last one.

After a less-than-stellar experience at The Bavarian Manly Warf, the manager reached out and invited us back to give them another chance - and we're so glad we did. Our second visit was amazing with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, impeccable service and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our Schnitzel with Potato-Cucumber Salad and for dessert we had Apple Strudel, which after growing up up in Southern Germany I can honestly say was one of the best I’ve ever had.It's evident The Bavarian takes customer satisfaction seriously and is committed to providing the best experience possible. Thank you for a great time, and we look forward to returning soon!
