FP has always been my go to for cakes. Always a great succees. However, are we forgetting some basic standards in hygiene?It left me wondering when staff brought over my knife and fork, the handles of which, were wrapped tightly with the serviette that I am to use.. A serviette which still had indentations of a firm grip to ensure napkin remains tightly wrapped around cutlery. Who would want to use such a serviette to wipe ones mouth or fingers with. C'mon FP, you can do better than this!

I had an early morning cup of Earl Grey tea and a dusted yo-yo biscuits, both were absolutely delicious. The tea was served in a pot which held 3 cups. The atmosphere early in the morning was very good and as I sat at a table that had a well cushioned bench it was very comfortable.

Spent $35 on a chocolate cake. not only was it very stale but all you could taste was dough. Hugely disappointed as it was a birthday cake. I won’t buy here again for this inferior product. My wife and I actually couldn’t taste the presence of any chocolate in the cake!

Been there twice. Coffee ok but my sister and l did not enjoy the sausage roll or meat pie. Too dry and not much flavour.

Bought a coffee and cake from this store. Quality wasn't as good as I expected. I am sure they sold me an old cake.Taste was very bad. We were barely able to eat a piece. Layers were obviously over dry and cream had an old oil smell it even tastes more like a cheap whipped oil rather than cream. Waste of money.

At Southland early and Fergusson Plarre one of the few places open. So was glad to see they had spinach rolls, because I love my spinach rolls!! I did not love this. It wasn't warm enough and there was hardly any spinach in it, very very similar to the awful spinach rolls you get at 7-11 where I think they wave it over the spinach. However they do have a nice salad sandwich, so split it with husband who also had a ham and cheese croissant, which he liked. They have an amazing range of sweet treats and am tempted every time I walk past!! So hard to resist but haven't cracked....... yet.

My husband purchased a chocolate cake for my birthday, it was dry rock hard, no taste of chocolate, looked very nice but sadly no chocolate taste. Very very disappointed.It was a great looking cake but was old and stale and not one bit of chocolate flavour.

I had bought bought takeaway cakes for years here, but on the spot last week decided we would have lunch. We enjoyed our pasties, although they were not hot enough. The little packs of sauce are not enough for one serve. However I am very pleased that they used leaf tea for my pot of tea. Most places give you a tea bag. I hope it is the same next time.
