New owner, Anna makes you feel truly at ease in your luxurious cabin . The breakfast and facilities are clean and maintained. Just ask and they will be able to accommodate.Well connected with local businesses.

Great spot stayed 3 nights, very lush gardens, very clean tidy & well presented cabins & quite well appointed as well.The host Anna is fantastic all to happy to help in anyway possible to make your stay feel very comfortable & welcoming.Beautiful view from the deck having breakfast out over the stunning pool to the very quant farm land beyond with cows wondering around, just a magnificent setting all while listening to many different sorts of birds all round you.It’s very eco friendly even seen a green tree snake having a snooze at the end of a rafter near the guttering. Then there was quite a few beautiful green frogs, which shows the environment is doing well.Absolutely worth a stay it's a very short walk to many other things to do & see.

Great cafe for breakfast or lunch. I didn't expect this great little cafe so far away from civilization. Coffee is very good and the pies and sweets are tasty. The staff is so nice, you can have a nice little chat while you order, the whole atmosphere is laid back and while you enjoy your food it seems time had slowed down a bit.

The host Anna was very welcoming and nice. She even offered to cook us some dinner later on if we wanted. We appreciated her kindness.We wanted to explore the area so we left the luggage in the room quickly and left.When we went back it was pitch dark  and every place was closed so we thought a good idea to eat something in the cabin and watched some TV.Then is when we started to notice the state of the place (pics attached)1. The toilet lid literally fell to the floor when we lift it.2. The toilet sink was dirty so it was the shower, where you could see a dry big hair ball on the floor.3. The furniture was old and smelt of humidity.4. The drawers with some cups and small plates did not look clean5. The TV did not work6. The blinds were covered with mold7. The bed pillows had stains and sheets did not look hundred percent clean.8. The ceiling fan hadn't been clean in ages.9. There was dust on the floor especially next to the bed.To sum up, we couldn't eat anything in that place. We hardly sleep on that bed and waited to early morning to leave without even have a shower.Breakfast was included but no thank you".Sorry to be writing this review but I think is unacceptable to pay for accomodation like this one. Regardless how nice

Such a great place to stay!Very clean and comfortable beds.Great breakfast too, they can make whatever you want to eat! Also with very nice fresh fruit!Local information from the owners, Paul and Lynn is also recommended, they know the best places to visit, to do and where to eat etcetera.Definitely worth to stay at least 2 nights!

No stars. We drove in after travelling all day. The hostess took one look and judged us without even talking to us. She was negative and unfriendly. We have friends and family who travel, and we'll tell them never to go there. The Riverview Lodge on the other hand is Lovely. Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and amenities. Much better!!

A total delight. Hayley and Mike made us feel very welcome, and are wonderful to speak to. The unusual tropical fruits that we got to try at breakfast were an added bonus. Definitely recommend.

Could unfortunately only stay for one night. Hayley and Mike are great hosts, The accommodation is clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. The outdoor kitchen is great, and Hayley’s breakfast is fantastic!

We had a very nice stay a this lovely place along the Daintree River. The cabin was very comfortable. We joined breakfast on the deck of the main building with another couple and had a nice time exchanging experiences. The owner gave us some good tips about things to do in the area.
