Ampol Foodary North Rockhampton Truckstop

Ryan and Jacob were both absolutely amazing! Gave us a good laugh while we were in there and were so nice and accommodating!We’re on a road trip and a lot of the time the staff at truck stops, fuel stations and rest areas are quite rude or just normal (which is totally fine), but it was nice to come here and have a bit of back and forth with them both and have a laugh. We only came to use the hot showers but ended up buying food and drinks as well.Prices are obviously higher than what you’d get in your average shops, but that’s to be expected in any truck stop, so I’m not sure why so many reviewers make a big deal out of that.A lot of reviews seem to be aimed at the staff, but from my personal experience, all the staff I’ve interacted with here have been nothing but nice and friendly. Based on that I’d highly recommend this truck stop both for their staff and facilities.

Good to see your fixing the pot holes out the back they have damaged my truck, Breakfast not all want a Big Breakfast, most, don't eat it all if you do, your your full as a goog and drive down the road and want to go to sleep, its a heath & safety & fatigue management thing, you best get the menu back to bacon & eggs sausages &eggs steak & eggs baked beans spaghetti on toast scrambled eggs stuff you can mix and match a roadhouse kitchen is your kitchen away from home this site is a truckstop and should cater for the people the deliver to you and everywhere else (Truck Drivers) get the Breakfast menu back to what we want and you might get 5 stars the management and staff are great here it the person above that decided to change things its not Mc Donald's, cooperation would be appreciated thanks.

Great place to stop, fill up the car, and get a hot meal, hot take away food and snacks. Very friendly staff.

Yummy food, and for us truck drivers you can go buy even from the supermarket, or use the other fast food suppliers .

Only went there for fuel. The car seems to run better on ampol 98
