Atherton Skate Park
Good park layout but in DESPERATE need of maintenance. The concrete is worn and slow to skate, there is alot of weather degradation and rubbish.The @TablelandsRegionalCouncil needs to give this park some serious TLC if they expect it to be inviting for the local public or skating tourists. It is poorly lit at night and only 3 of the 4 existing lights are working.There is some cool artwork, but would love to see the rest of the park painted as atm it is quite the eye sore.

I have bin skating here for 7 years and there is no maytenans. There is cracks and holes verywhere and the lights don't work so I can't skate there at night needs alot of work

Great variety of stuff to play around on. Lots of grind rails and coping to grind. Quarters all over the place to pop some sweet air. Small and large ramps, awesome little funbox, plenty of bowl action. Nice transitions. Surface is a little rough, inlines will see some wear. Sheltered seats at the side, and drinking water available from tap about 50m down the fence. Would be great to see a drinking fountain.
