HypnoBirthing International offers a comprehensive antenatal course that gives couples the skills to stay focused, present and grounded, even if things don’t go according to plan. 13 years ago working as a midwife I witnessed my first HypnoBirthing International birth. This amazing mumma was calm, in control and simply looked like she was sleeping. Yet she wasn't, she was fully present yet relaxed as she breathed and moved through her labour. She was the talk to the tea room for weeks!! Fast forwad 2 years and I was pregnant with our first. Determined to have what she had" I sourced out a HBI practitioner and commenced classes and 6 months later our first bub was born in 4 hours. My ob didn't even make it and the midwives didn't believe I was progressing so quickly! AND fast forward 12 months and we were pregnant with twins. Well did that change the goal posts. Right from the word go I wanted a twin HBI birth. Yet I was being prepped for a controlled "maybe". Much reasearch

I completed my HypnoBirthing Practitioner training in March 2016. I was highly impressed with the training and with Anthea Thomas, my facilitator. The information was fresh, evidence based and tailored for Australian practitioners, our maternity system and the couples we teach. I have gone on to use my training by running my own successful HypnoBirthing business. I would highly recommend this amazing course to anyone interested in transforming lives.
