A really nice meal and good service overall. We were early and sat at the bar and had a fab Aperol. Got to our table very quickly and had Bread, Olives and Zucchini Flowers to start. All were fab. Then we had the Pappardelle Ragu and Pork and Fennel Sausage Pizza and topped it off with the Tiramisu and Gelato Sandwich. The Tiramisu was the best I’ve had in ages and everything else was excellent. Will be back.

Came here with my parents on a Monday for an early dinner. We ordered the Mooloolaba tuna, salted cod, seafood spaghetti and ricotta ravioli.I have to say that right off the bat, the service was fantastic! Both the hostess and the waitress were amazing - friendly, open, just next level service. The starters were really, really good. The tuna was fresh, the salted cod had great bite to it, both were 10/10. It fell down a little bit with the mains. The seafood spaghetti was over cooked (both the pasta and the seafood) and both pasta dishes were under seasoned. This was addressed with the hostess who was absolutely lovely about it. She was super apologetic and offered to have it remade but I wasn’t that hungry so declined as it would have been a waste. She then said she would remove it from the bill.I honestly cannot express how excellent her service was.The main problem arose when the head chef/owner came over to the table. While I appreciate her coming over, my review would be a lot more positive if she hadn’t. From the second she came over, she was very defensive and unpleasant. In an incredibly condescending manner, she informed us that the pasta is made fresh and therefore it is softer and it’s “not for everyone.” Sorry, I’ve had fresh pasta before and they’ve managed not to overcook it into mush. (If you’re looking for an example, please check out Ripiena in the valley.)If the situation had been left at how the wait staff handled it, I would have been more than happy to give 4 stars. Unfortunately, the owner/chef was so rude, condescending and defensive that I feel like I never want to go back.

Tucked away in a unassuming and quiet street, it was a nice surprise. The papardelle ragu was probably the best out of what we ordered. Staff was friendly and helpful, ambiance was alright as well. Quite enjoyed the truffle pasta as well.

The food here is INCREDIBLE. The first bite of the in-house focaccia was amazing - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We decided on the set and it was great value for the amount of food that was sent out. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and our server was kind and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I was lucky enough to snag a reservation on a busy weekend, and let me tell you, it was worth it.Let's start with the pizza. As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I have to say that Ramona Trattoria's dough is out of this world. It's light and airy, not chewy like a rubber band, and has the perfect amount of crispiness. The toppings are generous, and each bite is a perfect combination of flavors. It's like a party in your mouth, and everyone's invited. But the pasta is no slouch either. Made in-house, it's cooked to perfection and comes in a variety of mouth-watering toppings. So if you're looking for a good time and great food, make a reservation at Ramona Trattoria. Just be sure to bring your appetite - you won't want to miss out on any of the deliciousness!

A casual, small Italian restaurant in a quiet suburb with a lean menu and average food. The restaurant was opened on a Monday, and was packed. Reservations are usually required as they only have around 15-20 tables. The service could be much improved; as it was disorganized, messy and not in par to what it could be.The menu is very traditional and hits all the “classics” of Italian food. They have around 7 wood fire pizzas and 7-9 hand made pastas. The pizzas are good, especially for people that hasn’t had much experience with Italian food in Brisbane. Now, for people that frequently go to Italian restaurants, then these pizzas are average and for the same price as other establishments. The drinks menu was disappointing in the quantity and description of some of wines, but I recognize that this may be a consequence of how small the restaurant is.The seafood pasta was excellent according to my friend, therefore this may be a good dish to try at this restaurant.I would come and try the food again, only because they are open on a Monday. The restaurant can get extremely hot and has poor ventilation.Edit and response to owner- I attended this restaurant 20/03/2023 at 7:30PM under the reservation of a friend.

Since hearing about the opening of Ramona I was most excited to try the Fried Mozzarella Sandwich, however, it was quite underwhelming… surprisingly, it lacked a substantial amount of mozzarella and the toast itself was a bit dry. Furthermore, the Tonnarelli Alla Gricia was too salty for my liking. Nonetheless, the Focaccia Rossa Alla Romana was beautifully flavourful & light, and the Wild Boar Ragu was 10/10.
