Sue was a legend, she was very helpful. Gave us tips of what to do, where to go and where to eat. A very pleasant trip and would recommend everyone to stop by here.

Would highly recommend stopping in and getting your car door tour maps, the ladies there are very knowledgeable and very friendly and know everything about Lightning Ridge and what and where to go, thanks ladies

Staff were very friendly and told us of areas to go and see. Also informed of local market that was on the Sunday morning. Stayed 2 nights visiting various place.

It's the first stop you should make when you get to town. Drop in and buy your maps, and let the staff give you the best advice on what to do in town. We also grabbed some maps for our travels. Don't expect big things, it's pretty basic but it does the job it needs to. Plus, they regularly have dig piles delivered for visitors to pick through looking for opals!

Spent time at the information centre yesterday with Sue. She was a fountain of local knowledge as well as being very friendly. We are off exploring today knowing exactly what we are going to do. Thanks again Sue.
