Only About Children Macquarie Park Station

My child left mq park oac not long ago. She went to childcare for the first time and cried bitterly every time. However, her teacher didn't make her feel safe . Instead, she told other teachers that my child was annoyed and kept crying with her so that she could not do anything else. She didn't know I was in the room next to her, so I heard her when she said these words. My child is not loved in there. After leaving there, oac called me for survey. I said about it. But I think everyone should know about it. My child settled in the new cc very quickly. She is very happy in the new cc. It seems that teachers are really important. Until now, I can't let go. I always think of my child's painful face and desperate expression in the room. I know OAC very big. May not care too many such things, but as mothers, I am ashamed of the behaviour of your teachers. I know not every child is like this. I just want to talk about my experience.

My child had been attending this day care for the last year. It brings me great comfort knowing that my child is in the best in care in my absence. The staff are so fantastic my child loves leaving me behind. There have been changes with directorship however in the last few months the centre has been gifted with an an amaxing acting director. This is evident by the improvement in staff moral and the welcoming of the director who is very approachable and listens. It's sad to know that soon the current acting director will no longer be managing the centre. I believe the current director is an asset and one can only hope that the person who will be taking over will be would be half as good as her.

My child used to go there two years ago and I totally love it. He was very well looked after and all the educators were lovely too.

I will write in detailed soon. First I am writing to NQS for evidence of how it has achieved so high rating.Update Jan 2018:NQS has refereed me to another independent org which conducts review. I will just let it go. Here is my review, both positive and improvements:1. Positive aspects: Infrastructure is no less than a five star hotel. All flashy, colorful, big etc.2. Improvement: Most staff are not passionate about the job they do. Most staff do not provide a personalized caring support to the kids. Many times I observed staff sitting idle minding their own business and not paying sufficient attention to the kids. If you have passion for a job, it comes spontaneously. Something I have noticed only in 2 staff members.Some examples:Admin staff: Only one young girl is genuinely interested to listen the concernsEducators: Only two staff members out of more than ten I met are so happy and excited with their work.Unless the management is able to hire more people who have passion for this job, I would never suggest this center to a friend. DO NOT trust NQS and Care for Kids rating for this particular center yet.

OAC Macquarie Park and the entire team have played such an important role in shaping the early lives of our two young children. We will be forever grateful for everything the educators have taught our children who have thoroughly enjoyed going there.

The security to get in here is excellent as it’s in a private business complex. That’s so reassuring when you have little kids.The over 2’s room looks really great.The centre can take a lot of kids at capacity but it’s not a kid farm right now like others. Lyndsay seems very capable and polished.

I have nothing but positive things to say about LLS Macquarie Park. The centre is always clean. The food is varied, healthy and fresh. The staff are amazing. They are such caring and loving people - they know each child’s individual needs. They are not paid enough for the job that they do! Admittedly, the centre is very popular and the class sizes are large. This may not be the place for your child if they require more individual attention. My daughter who started when she was one has thrived here :)

Fantastic daycare. 1 year old has a wonderful time. The staff are lovely and so enthusiastic to see my boy. The menu is great and encourages diverse eating. The kids are all so adorable sitting at the little tables eating together. The staff really care about my baby and always update me on how he's going. He's encouraged to try new activities and learn things for himself, he brings home lots of new skills and confidence to do new things.Can't speak highly enough about the staff and facilities.Only one slight downside is no undercover entrance, so get a bit wet if it's raining when doing drop off or pick up.

Literally have no idea how people could leave anything short of positive 5 star reviews for this place.I am a mother of TWO children (1&3 yrs) who attend here for over 2 years now, and absolutely love both the classes that my kids are in. The educators are wonderful to my children which definitely makes it easier to drop my kids off when I go to work. The kids are always involved, the activities are ever changing, and in fact my toddler asks to go to daycare on WEEKENDS he has so much fun there.We initially started attending because of the exceeding high government standards they hold - but we’ve stayed (despite moving home further away) because it’s simply the best centre in my opinion.Got nothing but praise for these guys, and I wouldn’t trust the 2 most important beings in my life with anyone else.

Our family settled very quickly with the caring and hands on teachers and management team. Just finishing our first year with OAC Macquarie Park we can say they are a first class facility. My child's growth has been outstanding, our family is supported with ongoing opportunities to attend webinars from professionals, we can track daily activities and follow the curriculum at home with the resources provided. A wonderful and stable facility. Thank you!
