If I could give 0 stars I would..Our nightmare with McDonald Jones Port Macquarie began when we wandered into the Sovereign Hills Display Home and we were snubbed by the salesperson.We had a look through the homes and initially were quite impressed, we didn’t give a second thought to the handyman repairing cracks in the corners of walls and ceilings inside one of the homes at the time, but looking back it was a sign.Not having done this before we unfortunately didn’t pay much attention to the quality, or lack of quality finishes as we were over awed by the interior design.Returning to the sales office, not even a look up from the salesperson as we stood there wondering if we were in fact invisible...I said something like “excuse me, hi” and a few gruff words followed. I asked the price of the homes and was told what turned out to be lies.The salesperson perked up when I mentioned another builder I had spoken with had given me a quote & without even seeing it he said he would beat it, another sign. I feel so dumb now.An even longer story short and all that has followed is lies, cover-ups, extra costs, poor communications, interchangeable supervisors and tradies complaining to me as I sat in my car out the front waiting for a supervisor as he was 25 minutes late without so much as a call. A home that was due for completion Jan2018 and we are here still renting. This has strained our relationship to no end.My advice... follow the signs

What can I say; best builder in town!

Not happy, but at least they didn't go broke and leave us stranded half way through the build.

Had some issues at drafting stage that were better handled with the other builds in the area and some further issues when the build was managed with my original site supervisor. However my 2nd and current site supervisor has resolved any issues I've had and has been extremely attentive to the rest of the build resulting in a great house. All work has been done to a good standard.

McDonald Jones Port Macquarie built our new home and we are extremely happy with all aspects of this project. Everyone from our Design Consultant, Project Coordinator, Construction Supervisor and our After Sales Manager have provided excellent service with great communication. The whole proceedure was explained well to us and even finished early. Our home is loved by everyone who has seen it. Would highly recommend McDonald Jones Homes Port Macquarie.
