Kimchi Grandma Restaurant
The restaurant has been opened for more than 20 years, the food are always good. However, the lady staffs are not friendly, they need to learn how to smile!. The toilets need an improvement. Overall is ok. Thank you

Kimich Grandma- Sam Gae Tang $28- Galbi (Beef spare ribs) $25.5- Seafood Pancake $16.5- Original Fried Chicken $25- White RiceMy dinning experience was a complete let down. I used to come here for some nice homey Korean food whenever I’m around the area. I’m pretty sure I won’t come back again after this visit.1. They had 4 staffs working on a busy Saturday night. Every time I needed something, I had to wave my hand for almost 5 mins to get a respond.2. Their side dishes are not free anymore. Can you imagine a Korean restaurant not serving side dishes for free? I’m not talking about refills, they are charging $1 per side dishe which was not like this before.3. Ordered 4 dishes only and they missed one of our orders. At least, the waitress apologised to us.4. Food quality has dropped. Their fried chicken was BLAND! No seasoning at all! I could barely taste the Ginseng in my Ginseng Chicken soup. The LA ribs was alright, slightly too sweet for my liking. My one star goes to the seafood pancake. Super crispy on the outside and a bit chewy on the inside. That’s the only thing I enjoyed.

Wow. The atmosphere, service and food are remarkable.I had fried beef dumplings and a beef bibimbap in a stone bowl for lunch and it was some of the tastiest Korean food with high quality ingredients I've had in a long time.I look forward to trying some of their vegetarian stone bowl options too.

Not as good as I have remembered, but my last visit was over 2 years ago. Found two slices of sad looking beef in my cold noodle, that were as tough as rubber. Also surprisingly, they do not have mustard or chilli sauce for the cold noodle, which almost all korean restaurants I have been to would provide. Instead, I was offered a teeny bit of wasabi by the staff, so little that didn’t really made a difference. The kimchi tofu stew was great, I would give that to them, super silky and soft tofu. There are no free sides here at kimchi grandma, no kimchi or pickled raddish or fishcakes, etc. Kimchi is $1 a small plate here. Hmm…

My favourite Korean restaurant. Especially love the Fried Chicken and Beef ribs.Takoyaki lacked a lot of flavour, not crispy.The chicken ginseng soup lacked ginseng flavour... I assume they used a packet rather than it being home made but still enjoyed it and meat was tender!

Everything comes in big portions! Highly recommended fried tofu, bibimbap and seafood soup. The kimchi pancake wasn’t as good as we expected, but in general was okay. It was a bit cold inside of the restaurant so make sure you dress properly. Staffs were really friendly and helpful, quick service.The best thing in the restaurant was the kimchi! 10/10 absolutely delicious! They do sell it in containers, it’s cheaper than buying from Asian store.

This restaurant is extremely nice and delicious. The food felt very authentic and the flavours melt in your mouth. The staff never fail to make you feel welcome and the quality of food makes you craving back for more. Was pleasantly surprised!

Decent Korean restaurant if you select the right menu items.Had the spicy beef bulgogi, spicy cold noodles and kimchi don. The spicy beef bulgogi is decent and popular. The spicy cold noodles were bad. The kimchi don is great and very filling.Expect to spend around $20/person.
