Riviera Cafe and Restaurant
We got the banquet and the food was nice that day. Our food came quickly and we got decent service as my husband was able to easily gain the attention of the waiters. The restaurant has a beautiful view so would return.

Delightful to dine in near the scenic river. Food banquet for a group is good and affordable. Coffee and tea are also available. Experienced shisha here too.

Lovely Lebanese restaurant located away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city. Massive sitting indoor overlooking the lovely views of the river.Our first time trying a Lebanese food and it was very nice. Grills were nicely marinated and dips were amazing. Loved the chicken wings accompanied by garlic potatoes which to our surprise was so good. Salad was quite nice but a bit sour.Perfect place for dinning away from the city and for stroll after meal.

Went here after having a look at the website and menu which looked affordable and also the outdoor seating area overlooking the Maribyrnong River looked appealing.Let's just say the experience was extremely disappointing from the get go. Upon arrival, although there was hardly anyone there, just 2 people outside and a few tables of people inside, we asked for a table for 2. Asked if we could sit outside, but were told no we couldn't although there were plenty of tables sitting empty. We were then given menus. More disappointment ensued as looking at the price for the Sharing menu online and in actual person you would think it was a different restaurant- not only was it more expensive but items were not on the menu of the Sharing options as advertised online on their website (if you have a website as a business you should really make the effort to at least update your menu and pricing). To top that off, we found out that it was only BYO alcohol after asking for a drinks menu! Stuck to drinking water but their glasses smelled eggy so avoided drinking anything for the whole dinner experience. We ordered the Sharing plate for 2. It would have been ok if the food was served at a decent pace to allow you to eat and enjoy. Instead everything was literally dumped on the table in quick succession and half of it went stone cold by the time we got around to trying it. Chilli fish was dry and unappetising. Lots of rice. Not enough substance. Toilets were also pretty gross. Personally, I won't be back.

My nephew had his wedding here. Their function area for 80 people. They packed a lot of people in such a small place though. Their function room is just nice for 60 people so it is not so cramped. We could barely move from our chair it was very tight. The way the cooked the meat was great. But rice and salad did not taste authentic. Amazing view though.

Came here for Ramadan dinner and by far the best service, experience and food. The food was on time. We really enjoyed our night and will definitely be coming back again.Firas really took care of our table and attended all of our needs.

Riviera Cafe and Restaurant
The first time I enjoyed Lebanese food was at this restaurant two years ago. Time flies so fast but even now I still remember the taste of each dish, they were so fresh and delicious. The waiters served quickly and were friendly even though it was a busy weekend night.We had a pleasant experience at this riverside restaurant.Thanks!

Yes website menu is outdated but the portion of the dish (Lamb mansaf) we ordered was large. Two of us could not finished and takeaway easily fed two ppl for another meal... lamb was well cooked and we liked the rice too. No weekend surcharge. All staff were very friendly and attentive.

Heard good things about this place from friends so had to try it for myself. Geat views of maribyrnong river, loved the Arabic music that was playing and the food was fantastic. We had the lamb mansaf(highly recommend) the serving we had today is enough for two people. Also had the kafta platter came with rice salad and hummus, kafta was fresh tender and juicy and bloody amazing. Also ordered tabouli which was also amazing and ordered batata bl kizabra I wanted to go for seconds with the batata but couldn't breathe after eating everything else. To end things the restaurant manager (Firas) was fantastic very accommodating great customer service funny and always with a smile and even gave us complimentary baklava and lebanese coffee. Will definitely be back, we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere
