Gold Coast City Choir

How good is the Gold Coast City Choir. I thoroughly enjoy singing as a team member among very friendly likeminded music lovers making great sounds. It’s a feel good experience.

Lots of fun, nice group of people and very welcoming. Good songs and a range to suit everyone's ability. Low membership fees and easy to get to. If you love to sing then this group would love to welcome you. I love it.

Wednesday night rehearsals are a mix of spirit raising singing, encouragement, good humour and very talented music director throwing the odd bit of education in there. Go home happy :)

Highly recommend the community that is the Gold Coast City Choir. Led by professional but welcoming Director and Pianist. I have enjoyed the musical stretching that this choir has provided. The pieces we sing are varied and inspiring and I leave each Wednesday night looking forward to the next practice night.

I joined the choir about 6 years ago, when the only singing i did was in the shower. I have learned how to read music, and understand the finer points of music - but more importantly, I have had fun. There is a time to be serious, and there is a time for fun with music.I recommend to anyone, no matter what you think you sound like, to come to a rehearsal, and see what we get up to. You can be taught to sing, and to understand music by our Director, and receive encouragement and friendship from other choir members.Ask for me - Stuart, and I will introduce you around.

I’ve been in the choir for many years and have found it to be a wonderful, friendly choir, always welcoming of new members. It tackles a variety of music and from time to time presents performances of exciting works accompanied by full orchestra.
