If you’re here for Midnight Mass unfortunately Crockett Island is sadly entirely fictional. The TV show was shot in Vancouver and surrounding areas such as Garry Point Park but the water you see around the island is computer generated. Why Vancouver? For tax reasons. What’s the relationship between Australia Crockett Island and Midnight Mass? None. The name was borrowed. That is all.

Is this a paper island, as the image of the church is similar to the one in the TV series so seems like a papper church. Also why would there be a church on a deserted island. I guess people of Mansfield will know

Beautiful island, wonderful early-mid century architecture. Don’t forget to visit the site of the historic church and perhaps the general store as well if you get a chance. I was lucky enough to catch a midnight mass there and it was beautiful! Would rate it 5 stars but I left with this inexplicable need for more iron in my diet. Probably nothing of course..

Crockett island is such an amazing island, the church services are a little weird with this new pastor we have. Other than that the Easter festival was fun!
