Asked for a white color bond fence and got exactly I asked for. Got a quote in very good time and the boys were very well mannered. Best Fencers in the area

I had to have a section of my fence and new gate installed after construction in my backyard. Josh (owner) was very prompt in scheduling and communicating with me in a timely manner. The installation looks great! They cleaned up after themselves and what equipment of mine that was used was put back better than how they found it. I was so impressed with their work on the fence I’m hiring them to paint it too! Definitely consider them if needing any fence work done.

Phill did a great job on my large double gate by putting new wheels on. I found him to be prompt, professional and personable.

I wish we had have read about Fred Smith's experiences before getting involved with Phil and Fence Worx. We had the same experiences and a lot more, with many broken promises and being unable to contact them for months on end.In the finish they dug up our drive and we noticed that they had made a mistake. In the scheme of things it was not huge and would only require $2-300 to fix. We met with Phil on site, worked out how to proceed, and were advised in writing that we would have an ETA on completing the job the next day. However, instead of removing one of the parts that needed fixing it was actually clamped in position and left. After another week with our driveway dug up, hearing nothing and as usual Phil not answering his phone or returning phone messages we emailed him reminding him that he had promised us an ETA a week previously. After that we got a phone call from Phil telling us that he was not going to complete the job. It took a couple of demands before getting our deposit back. Also, The fence Worx “6 foot colorbond fence” has only just over 5’4” of colorbondFence Worx quoted us on a “6 foot colorbond fence”. They word their quotes and contracts though so they can actually build a 5’4 and ½ inch colobond fence sitting on a huge slab of ugly treated spine. This is what they do.Year ago fencers building paling fences would partially bury a thin concrete plinth and sit the palings on top. It was barely visible, but kept the palings of the ground so they did not rot. They also meant there was no gap under the fence, and helped allow for unevenness in the ground.A few years ago I noticed contractors starting to sit the concrete plinth up off the ground. It saved having to dig the plinth in, and meant that they could use shorter palings. They were quicker to erect and save materials, but left a gap underneath and look cheap and ugly.Fence Worx have taken this to a whole new level. Instead of having a thin concrete strip above the ground their “plinth” is a huge slab of treated pine allowing them to get away using a lot less colorbond. In other words, their “6 foot colorbond” fence is approximately 90% colorbond and 10 % treated pine.I tried to put photos on here but they haven't come up. You can see them on the facebook page Waiting for Fence Worx"If you expect a proper colorbond fence and Fence Worx builds you one of these what can you do about it? Nothing!!! In their quote they call it a 1.8m colorbond with treated pine plinth. You assume that you will get a 1.8m colorbond fence sitting on the plinth

I have had several houses fenced by Phil. Never had an issue. Communication was great, product was fantastic and it was completed in a timely manner.I would highly recommend fenceworx, as would hundreds of other home owners and local builders who use them consistently.I find the negative feedback I have read on here hard to believe and I dare say there is a lot more to the story than what is being portrayed.I have used fenceworx for years, and poor communication and poor workmanship are absolutely not in their nature

Phil from Fence Worx did a measure and quote on Feb 13th. Seamed quite reasonable. He wanted 50% deposit, which I paid on Feb 14th. I spoke to him on numerous occasions to see how things were progressing. The last time I talked to him was just before Easter. He said the gates would be installed two weeks after Easter. Haven't heard from him since. I am going to take legal action against him. I'm seeing a lawyer next week.If anyone is thinking of using Fence Workx in the future, Don't.
