I was wondering why all the bad reviews of Chromagen solar till i experienced it myself. They not only have extremely poor quality equipment but also worst customer service. Their solar hot water leaked and damaged half of my roof on top of second story house.I got a certified plumber to diagnose the job ,take photos of damage and asked Chromogen to rectify it. They knew how bad their product are but insisted for one of their own plumbers to come and diagnose it again and only then they will proceed with repairs at the day and time suitable to them.I had to agree to it as they would not proceed without it. So i ended up paying them again for the same job i had already paid for.After the visit from their plumber they said they will not proceed as it is not their responsibility but want a call out fee paid there and then.When i pointed it out to the management again on email they threatened me and insisted i should have diagnosed it early by going around in different streets to have a look at the top of second story house". Honestly

Thank you so much for your service, I am very happy with the outcome. Quick response to messages. I emailed customer services late at night and got a reply back first thing in the morning before they opened I was very impressed, booked a plumber for the next day as they were already booked out for the whole day. Plumber was great I told him what was happening and he fixed the problem in no time. Showers are working perfectly and no leaks. I recommend this company to anyone they a great.

This company's customer service is ridiculous! I wish I could give it 0 stars. They installed it wrong and it took them 5 days to get around to fix it. Then I received an invoice for a service I didn't receive and they threaten me that they will forward it to debt collection. I will never use this company's products ever again and you shouldn't risk it either!

Our is rusted out completely after 8 years. This was due to the fact that the plastic fittings on the top of the tank are cheap plastic and crack and let water in. We can't just get the tank replaced even though the solar panels are in good condition. We were told we had to replace everything.

My Chromagen solar hot water system entire electrical system died after 4 years 11 monthsWarranty for all electrical components only 1 year. $1000 to repair.Poor reviews were confirmed by an independent plumber with no vested interest. He stated ‘we don’t service chromagen just rip ‘em out’.I decided not to throw good money after bad and replaced the whole system with a solar heart, who were really good BTW. If you can, specify a different brand when building.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I went in for a fresh anode. Place was clean, staff were friendly, transaction was smooth. I'd have no probs returning.

Very disappointing service from the company, It took weeks and multiple phone calls to get the plumber out to repair our system that just broke down 2 months out of warranty. (only 2 yrs old) (The Plumber was excellent but was a contractor) Chromagen lost the work order twice and there was no followup on their end to make the jobs happenThen after paying within 2 days of the job being complete they kept on sending invoices out requesting payment, after more phone calls and multiple promises on it getting solved and fixed I have just received another one today - have asked for the company manager or director to call to get it sorted as I feel it is the only way to stop getting treated like this - Just get the feeling the staff there don't care about their customersFunny how a company is quick to take your money and then not give you any respect or service - Would NOT recommend going with this company for your Hot water install unless you are a very patient person and can deal with some of the worst customer service and business management I have come across in my time.I can accept simple mistakes happen but when it gets to this level it is just incompetence

Absolutely awful company! They refused to discuss any booking till I pay for the invoice, once I paid, they realised they cannot provide half of the services they invoiced me for. I requested full refund, and it has been 2 weeks, and I am still waiting. Their people on the phone hung up on me when I asked why it takes so long to transfer my money back.

Terrible service, don't know how they keep their doors open. We are renting a house and the solar is not working and with it still under warranty we have to use them. They are not sending anyone as they have issues with the real estate but I'm the one who is suffering. So what now, do we just have all this to make the house look fancy. Just want someone to look at it why it's not working, is that too much to ask
