Stress Less mess were able to accommodate and fit me in for a deep clean on very short notice. Coming into a busy period with Xmas. I personally would not recommend this business. Although initially good, the punctuality, efficiently and reliability ultimately became an issue.**EDITED 25-5-23**This is a personal experience and opinion, as withholding negative reviews may lead to biased online information.As already indicated, the business was initially great when first hired. However in our opinion, we felt the standard dropped after several months, hence why the review was updated and not deleted.We are equally disheartened to read the false narrative and defamation claims towards us as customers. This contradicts all messages received from the business when seeking direction for areas we would like cleaned.We felt we were extremely accomodating and flexible with all incidents during their engagement. When the business broke our kitchen light and we were inconvenienced until replaced, and in times the staff were late as shown on our security cameras (which we get happens). Even when delays effected WFH arrangements and when staff were contacted to arrange returning to our property, it was communicated delays were due to access issues which seemed strange, as nobody had been contacted about the issue.In our opinion the quality started to drop after several months and areas visibly appeared to be wiped around, or not completed at all, although indicated in their completed list sent afterwards as done. Family members can attest to this. We do understand sometimes time only permits a quick wipe around. However, it becomes frustrating when the same areas are being neglected, but indicated as complete.The service ceased after we requested the floors to be wet mopped, instead of dry mopped. This was something we had requested and been advised was occurring from the beginning of the agreement, but later witnessed when present during cleans as not being completed. The staff provided every confidence this would be accommodated in next clean, however then rescheduled the clean, then cancelled within 24hrs. This is something business t&c’s state there is a penalty applicable if done by a customer. When the reliability was queried, staff advised they were moving and no longer able to complete the clean. We found this to be odd and disappointing behaviour.It is our hope the business take this feedback onboard with future prospective clients in providing a honest transparent agreement on what is achievable in the desired timeframe. lt would be disappointing for others to in a position where they are told services are achievable, then service cancelled at short notice and accused of being demanding or having unachievable standards for simply requesting completion of services rendered.

Stress Less Mess have provided me with thorough quality cleaning. I have used their service for an initial deep clean and have continued using them for further ongoing general cleaning of my home. They are reliable, skilled and hardworking and I find an always left satisfied with the job that is done. I highly recommend, worth every cent.

I'd recommend Stress Less Mess in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a regular weekly or fortnightly house clean. They are reliable, have excellent attention to detail and do a fabulous job. Their communication is spot on and they are really friendly as well. So if you're needing a little extra help around the house, give them a call... We used the team from Stress Less Mess to do a deep clean our holiday house in Gowrie. I am so happy with the result. With a holiday house you are not there all the time and while we clean it when leaving etc it is not the same as cleaning every week if you live there. Jess and her team came in and waved their magic mops, cloths and brooms (and ample amount of elbow grease too I am sure) and the place is the best it's been since we bought it.
