Origin Kebabs Buranda

Had a falafel kebab, which was incredibly dry and it was falling apart, so it made it even harder to eat. Sauce was non existing. They should maybe add more sauce next time, so it wouldn’t be so dry.Vegetables were fresh.

Lovely staff members and always make great kebabs and HSP! Only had a couple of bad food but they never disappoint most of the time!

I was only 3 min late for pickup time and female staff waited for the male guy to come and he stated judging me for being late, telling me as soon as the food is ready I was supposed to be here to pick it up. Wth is that even, other times I waited there for 15-20 min just because you were busy to prepare the order and I didn’t say a word and you r judging me to be late for 3 min ?I tried to tell my reason but the guy just said it doesn’t matter, as if his small tiny shop only matters. Mine is a business too and I don’t really have to get judged by cheap people like you to do my business.Cheap place, cheap people !

I have eaten at this place numerous times and its exceptional value.Service is top class.Ladies a please to have them serve me.Clean and tidy.Fast deliver and orders are Spot on always.I recommend everyone to visit and enjoy good cooked food.****.Alas today they let the side down .My food was overcooked but not quite burnt.Very disappointing.******

Really good kebabs.Happy to cater to dietary requirements as well.Staff are very helpful and friendly.Handy location in Buranda Shopping Centre opposite Woolworths.Plenty of free parking available as well.If you want a good kebab you have to try them.

I found a huge uncooked chicken doner (looks cooked on the photo but it was not!) placed in the oven to be roastered while cooked sliced chicken was kept in the container right under the chicken doner, where water from raw meat dripped onto the container. They placed a couple of kitchen towels on the lid of the container, but the amount of water was too much to be cleaned away. When serving, the staff opened the lid and took cooked meat to make kebabs, but I saw the water from completely soaked kitchen towel was dripping into the container. I believe it is absolutely hazardous as raw meat water contains harmful bacteria such as salmonella. I told the owner, but he ignored my concern.I won't be surprised even if there are people with food poisoning (I just saw a 6month-ago-review from Mia that she had food positioning!!!! They haven't improved)The gloves were not changed when handling food directly after touching a pen, EFTPOS machine, and money. After all, I got a refund after observing all these, before they serve my order. The worst part was the owner's attitude when facing these complaints.Food safety issues have been reported as the owner wished.

They have really nice kebabs and other snacks you can eat. They also serve coffee so you can have a coffee break if you don’t want to have the kebabs. Conveniently located outside woolies it’s easy to spot and find it.

The staff were friendly, and the potato scallops were great!But I bought the $20 chicken snack pack and was very disappointed with it. The chicken was rather dry, and the minimal amount of sweet chili sauce didn't help. The chips I had my dad try (as he is the hot chip conoseur of the house) and he didn't like them. A few of the last ones I ate didn't seem cooked either. Ended up throwing the last bit out.My dad's review It looks better than it is.""

A quaint little kebab shop in buranda Village that serves a decent note.The cake was delicious, fluffy and not too sweet! the kebab good, but I've had far better. They didn't put sauce on it (or not enough). Rather plain.But the delightful customer service was really great! And what sold my experience. The staff member who served me was sweet and did take care to note all of my preferences.I'll come back again.. But likely just for the cake and coffee ;)
