Had a great time enjoying dinner with my friends, the server and fast and friendly, the lamb pizza was delicious, and the Amaretto Sour was probably the best I've ever had. Would totally go back!

We attended Lava Ristorante Wine Night (Monthly Event) which entailed an indulgent culinary journey through Sicily.The amazing experience encompassed exquisite meals perfectly paired with four exceptional wines all from the beautiful region of Sicily. We opted for Gluten Free dishes for the evening and received beyond perfect dishes.Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Italy and enjoy a fine dining experience like no other, complete with Live Italian Music by Zumba.We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, and we highly recommend booking as it is an amazing dining experience!

We've had pizza from Lava a few times (Easily the best in the Teneriffe/New Farm area) but my husband and I dined in for his birthday this week and had such a wonderful evening. The service, food and wine were all fantastic. Hands down the best Orecchiette I've eaten outside the south of Italy! No surprise when the friendly & talented chefs are all Southerners. What an absolute gem of a place. Can't wait to return.

I had my birthday lunch in one of the gorgeous private dining rooms. The staff and atmosphere were incredibly welcoming and all efforts were made to make my day a truly special experience.Such a great hidden gem!

Celebrated my birthday here. The atmosphere was lovely. Staff very helpful and attentive. Food very tasty and good sized portions. Definitely will return! Thank you to the waitresses who added the special touches to help make the night memorable.

The service was really lovely and the restaurant itself was quite modern. The photos and reviews really put high expectation for us dining here.. but it was such a miss. The only good dishes we both really enjoyed were the arancini and the margherita pizza.The other three dishes we ordered were so disappointing. The meatballs were on the dry side and the sauce was just lacking so much flavour. The veal scaloppine's mushroom sauce was delicious, however, the veal was bland without it, and the salad on the side was pretty.. lame - should probably do something more filling like mashed potato when paying $35. The Fusilli Funghi e Speck was way too salty/smoked from the speck, and not funghi at all. It also looked like it was topped with pre-packaged grated parmesan.. Tried the donuts too which were nice - could maybe serve with ice cream? Idk.

I took my mother here for her Birthday and the team at Lava were beyond amazing, the extra effort they took to make the evening truly special did not go unnoticed. From the surprise sparklers to the attentive care, the experience was truly an occasion. A big shout out to our waiters Bridie and Juan as well for their service. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I dined at the family owned restaurant Lava last night after walking past for two years. We were disappointed we had not been in sooner. Our servers Sasha and Sienna were lovely and very professional. With a hospitality background of 16 years I was very impressed with these girls mastering sequence of service w ease and happy to give us some history of the family owned business. Something I have not come across in a long time. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Chianti with Brushetta, lasagna and pizza. My partner and I will definitely be making this our local Italian restaurant and I look forward to bringing my family and friends to this lovely restaurant.
