Cairns Cool Air Sales & Service

Not about there service or product but there hate for bike riders. As you are publicly advertising your business on your car maybe you should think about that before driving erratically

I had Cairns Cool Air install 2 aircons in my apt in 2014, the service provided was excellent.Approx after 5 months one of the aircons was not cooling properly and needed to be looked at, obviously was under warranty but the guys came out within a few days of calling and the problem was fixed.No more problems.....I found them to be very professional and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The staff were very friendly and approachable. I'm always happy to support a great local business. Highly recommend.

Very happy to recommend them, good systems and process. Quoting was fast and efficient (previous two companys had not even shown up), install happened within a week of the quite and this was at a peak time in December. They threw a big team at it and knocked it off days, staff were clean and tid, courteous and efficient. Finally someone to rely on!

Be sure to get detailed quotes from this company, i asked if a fifth head could be put on a daikin multi inverter, the director of the company told me it would be no dramas to do as they did the original installation of the system. After some dramas receiving the quote i finally got it text messaged to me for a little under $1000. Installed fine & everything good until we tried to use the whole system.... well you cant do that as the system has no capacity i was told! Ahh i wouldnt have done it if i couldn't use it. The director came out to do a quote on how we can make it work and I recieved a $2600 quote on top of the $1000 i had already spent for a 3.5kw system, utterly ridiculous. Beware of cairns cool air. I now have a system thats useless unless i add another outdoor unit at great expense!! -5 stars & you should be ashamed of yourselves

landlords and body corporate services always blame their tenants when the air conditioning can not keep our business cool, Maybe they could explain why the cold water comes out as hot as the hot water in November as well, with our business next to a bakery and a bottle shop. I don't usually post messages but I had a terrible encounter with the Managing Director so had no where else to go. Service in Cairns can be below average but where does one rate Cairns Cool Air. Please read on.Even one star is too many.* After seeing a glowing profile on their website, I was impressed and decided to call them* The Managing Director came by to inspect my unit.* I subsequently received a quote on 03NOV2020. I wanted an A/C for our horrendous heat and wanted one before Xmas for Xmas.* Although a bit pricey I like the product so emailed the MD to proceed.* The MD emailed back (18NOV) to say due to lack of a particular part from Daikin they could not install until mid JAN 2021.* I sent an email on 02JAN2021 enquiring on the progress of the part.* I emailed again on the 16th.* The MD emailed on the 20th to say due to ongoing issues with Daikin part availability and changes within his business they no longer did Domestic installations; only Commercial.* I rang at 1412 on the 25th - spoke to the MD - queried why he would not honour his quote and his response 'you never paid a deposit'. I said you never asked for a deposit. His response 'how can we ask for a deposit if we do not have the part'. I asked as to when the decision was made not to proceed and he said early DEC and simply HUNG UP up on me.As can be seen the decision was made early DEC but he did not bother to inform me. Had I known I could have gone elsewhere rather than wait.I have never encountered anyone so unprofessional or rude!

I don't usually review on here but i would never go here again and all i had done was a free quote...Got told my pressure switch was stuffed & i needed gas so got quoted $350... i have been to 3 different place now & they have all proved the swith is fine and if i had it re gassed it would have only lasted 2 weeks-1 month max.Didn't even think to tell me one of my air filters are gone and it could be the evaporator.Most dodgiest thing i have ever had to listen too. I refuse to go to them again.

Polite prompt and honest response to my enquiry which turned into great service. Patrick who did the installation was the most delightful young man. Highly recommend this company it was a pleasure to deal with them.
