Great food! Very healthy, although a bit on the expensive side for the size of the meals. Service was very slow and they were not entirely sure what the meals were when they brought them out. I finished my breakfast before my coffee came. The first of us to order also was the last to get their meal, which was the easiest of the lot too. Overall, I'll give it another shot, but definitely not the place to go if you're in a hurry

The team at Cafe de Velo were amazing! We have some tricky dietary requirements in our family and we called ahead to see what options were available. The team were super helpful and gave me some ideas, they even went the extra step and wrote out a list of options for us to chose from as alternatives. The food was great, staff were super efficient and was a lovely mothers day morning. Highly recommend

At first I wasn’t sure if they were open, very glad I entered though. Cafe was very clean , music not too loud, staff were welcoming, The cafe links through to the cycle shop next door, which is interesting in itself.Loads of healthy options in the menu. I ordered the Asian Slaw with pork belly, not overly healthy I guess, but delicious.Would be great place for a business catch up.

We had a really nice meal here, plenty of flavour and well presented, service was good, friendly staff. Whoever thought to put bacon cheese and avo in a sourdough toastie is a genius!! Hubby loved his stir fry veg and cauli too, delicious. Cake cabinet looked great but I will have to come back for that another time. Very good atmosphere and clean.

Very enjoyable meal, infact the chicken burger was delicious possibly one of the best I've had. My partner had a guacamole toasty which she loved also! Great friendly service and solid menu, will definitely be back.

Such a lovely place to have lunch here. Staff were very friendly, always serving with a smile, and I especially love that they have fresh juices too! I had the detox juice and it was simply devine! I forgot to mention to them not to add in the ice, and when asked if they could pour out the ice, they even filled it to the brim for me. Such a lovely gesture ☺️. Thank you!

When a friend invited me to home grown I was reluctant at first. I figured it would be all sandal weaving hippies and pompous vegans who would shame me for looking at any sort of non soy based food. However it is a great little spot. The small shop front betrays the huge size of the indoor cafe.The coffee is great and the Mexican fritters were well balanced between spicy and flavoursome. There is a large array of deserts that are tasty but also friendly to vegan and gluten sensitive people.The only reason it's not 5 stars was the wait for food and the different times that all the meals came out to our party of 5.The staff are lovely so it's well worth the trip....Even if you have to listen to some dude rant about how meat is murder while you enjoy some nitrate free bacon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast there this morning. Our meals and drinks were delivered quite promptly after we'd ordered and the staff were all very friendly. Plenty of indoor seating which is perfect for those cooler Toowoomba mornings. The cake cabinet looked full of delicious cakes and slices...we may just have to pop back in for morning tea.
