It just so happened that they were having a 50% Off sale when I visited. Chelsea (sales assistant) was so very helpful and extremely personable remembered my name from the day before {even though I live 5 hours away from Brisbane and had never been there before}.The range of goods was dwindling due to the sale but, they were clearing the current stock to allow for a completely new huge shipment of brand new different stock to fill the shelves.Thank you to Chelsea for a lovely shopping experience at RIOT Art & Craft. 5/5

They have 50% off ATM otherwise it's abit pricy when U look at the prices. I wouldn't be able to do any art if there the prices. (Thank U cheap shops) n the service was very bland needs some joy in there.if U have $ to burn this is the shop 4 U.

I love this store. A huge range of crafting products at reasonable prices and if you're a member keep on the look out for sale email specials! Helpful friendly staff too. Definitely a frequent customer at Riot :)

I went in yesterday (saturday) about 4.45 pm roughly to find a paint and something to dye a fabric. Did not ask the staff at the first place because she was alone and with a customer. So I kept looking by myself, and when I got the chance to ask her, she interrupted me when I was talking and she responded to me when I had not finished my sentence to explain what sort of paint I was looking for. This lady said Riot does not have somthing to dye fabric, and only 1 paint suitable to do my project. I walked around again and found the dye fabric package, so I took it and did not take the paint that she recommended.So, obviously the staff that was on Saturday afternoon lack of customer service skills, no emphaty and very rude, and lack of product knowledge! And then I left the store at 5 pm ish and then she shouted.. Yes! I can finally go home... Sorry if I held you up lady but if you could have listened to your customer better maybe your customer would get the answer better, rather than you cut me out and gave the wrong answer.I am not a regular customer of this store, but I think next time I need art items, I would not go again to Riot Chermside. There are other bigger stores that provide more items and probably more kind, emphatetic staff.

I find the staff are very rude, unhappy and are not passionate or knowledgable about the things they are trying to sell you, it is now my last resort for an arts and craft store. I'd rather go out of my way to another store than go to Riot Arts and Craft at Chermside because I feel like I am a bother when I enter. One of my friends was interested in some inks and asked what they were, the response we received was youtube it." This just shows that the staff at this store do not know the products they are selling. I believe you are losing business this way."

Everything half price until the end of September. I've stocked up on paints, brushes, varnishes etc etc Staff all very helpful.

Poor range/ understocked. Very reasonably priced for the brands on offer. Friendly helpful staff. Good for amatuers. Pro artists or tertiary students should probably avoid. Or call first for what's in stock. A wasted trip in my case.
