TriCare Willow Glen Retirement Community

I have visited Willow Glen a number of times and found the residents are friendly, happy and welcoming. The village is well managed, with great facilities and plenty to do. Close to all the major shops, takeaway outlets and a medical practices. Great place for retirement living.

Willow Glen is a quiet and relaxed village. Access to shops, medical and shopping is perfect whether you have transport or not. The grounds are neat and well kept and a haven for some very pretty birdlife. With the West Creek Reserve running along the back of the village it provides the ideal relaxed setting. The staff are friendly and always ready to help.

A wonderfully maintained village, with friendly staff eager to look after the residents' needs. Plenty of available activities & events onsite as well as organised group outings.

My wife and I have just bought into a unit at Willow Glen Retirement Community. The process has been a very positive one with the staff going the extra mile in walking us through the process opening up the unit for us to look at and guiding us through the right channels to make our transition to retirement a delightful experience. We have settlement in two week's time and on the day of settlement we have been invited to the monthly birthday celebration. With the treatment we have received we are so looking forward to moving into our newly refurbished unit and starting this new chapter of our lives. We are giving a 5-star review becasue 5 star service deserves just that.

I moved to this beautiful village two years ago. The beautifully landscaped grounds and spacious homes helped me make my decision to purchase here. This is the first home I have purchased and I am delighted I chose here.The staff are warm friendly and welcoming. I am able to participate in as many activities that are on offer but still able to maintain my privacy.The residents are warm and friendly , ready with a wave and on for a chat or cuppa.

I have resided at this retirement community for over 2 years. It's a very pleasant place to live, lovely administration staff, great friendly neighbours, also privacy when needed. It's an independent living village and no meals are provided however we can access any outside support services we may require. We have a warm water pool and many activities to attend. So pleased I made the move to live here. Christine

Barbara and I have lived at Willow Glen for 19 years and wouldn't live anywhere else. We live in a beautiful setting surrounded by prize winning gardens. These are kept to a high standard by our great Gardeners.We also live adjacent to the park which gives an extra feeling of space.The village people are like family always available for a chat , a cup of coffee, a game of pool ,or a game of cards etc. MOST ENJOYABLE.Our village Management People are very approachable and friendly and ready to help.Car friendly, plenty of space for visiting friends to park, the roads are all wide enough to pass.( important for our safety)These are some of the reasons We like living at Willow Glen.

Willow Glen is a beautiful boutique Retirement community with plenty of space. The Units, facilities and grounds are well maintained by helpful and knowledgeable staff . You can be as busy as you want with Village life or as quiet and Retired" as you like."

We Jan and I have been here for almost 19 years after checking all available, this was by far the best. We have friends and relations in other villages and all would be glad to swap.We have a 3 bedroom large and pleasant, almost the size of a medium home, without the worries or upkeep all for a nominal monthly fee.Staff are efficient, helpful, pleasant and friendly in the extreme. Gardens, lawns, exterior of units are all maintained for us.We would call it a boutique village in a quiet cul-de-sac, where there is no street or traffic noise.The West boundary is the beautiful West Creek Park with it's abundant wild life. There to enjoy many a pleasant walk, making friends with others out to enjoy the walks and wild life.There is a heated pool, croquet court, library, pool table and ping pong table, indoor bowls, darts, library, computer, and full kitchen facilities.We can join the regular functions, or the visiting organized items.Even a caravan shed where the motor home is under cover.What more could we ask.! We are here and enjoying till we move to the great beyond.

I recently had the opportunity to see Willow Glen at Toowoomba and what an amazing place, tidy, well presented and the Manager and staff are so warm and friendly. The facilities and events that are held cater to all who live there and are great fun. If I had the opportunity I would certainly consider living at Willow glen and I would encourage you to have a look at Willow glen before you make a final decision.Cheers and good luck fellow Seniors
