Coonalpyn Soldiers Memorial Caravan Park

Large spacious campgrounds , option for power or unpowered .Fees apply only for power & hot showers . The only disappointment was the laundry only had a clothes dryer ???

Thanks so much to the local people of Coonalpyn. This is a great facility with free power and clean amenities. The huge gum trees give plenty of shade and lots of birds are here. Right next to the park is a community swimming pool.

Great community caravan park. About 20 power and water spots and heaps of unpowered. Nice level spots with trees for shade. No road noise that I noticed of a night. Has a dump point and rubbish bins. Nice new amenities block. Showered are by paywave at $5. Nice new pool, playground and bbq areaWhen we stayed there was no cost for power and water sites, but have been told they are installing a paywave system. Just pull up and find a site that suits you.

Super clean amenities, huge swimming pool, dump point, etc. Better than many expensive caravan parks out there

A pleasant campground with powered and unpowered camping. Nice restrooms. Easy walk to main street and sites. It's unmanned and if you want power, you swipe your credit/debit card. Easy.

Great free camping sites with power, water and sullage. There is a brand new amenities block and clothes line. Showers are $5 swipe card and the sites are well organized and sizable. If you stay go to town, 5mins walk, and try the waffles, OMG they are delicious.

An amazing free (where is that donation tin?) Caravan stop. Has toilets, shower ($5), laundry, dump point, rubbish bins, power and water. There is a park for the children, and bookshop. And of course, the silo.

A true gem on the long road to the Vic border. Spotless amenities and very tidy grounds. Power& water for $15.00/night and free non powered sites. Worth a stop.

Fantastic camp spot best suited for caravans. The local council are renovating the amenities, power and water so you get free power & water until they finish the upgrades. Nice flat powered spots where some have drains for your grey waste pipes. Park is nestled under large trees so gives you some protection from the sun. Once renovations are complete I believe it will be an honesty box situation as the park is un-manned. Great stopping point if you want to break up your trip into VIC or Mt Gambier. It’s not very well known but does fill quickly as their is only 20 powered spots. Their is a pool beside that opens seasonally from 2-6pm. A short walk up the road provided you with a motel/pub, a silo cafe for coffee and a quirky waffle/jaffle shop that serves amazing waffles!

This is a great little park... and they ask only for a donation (& $5 for a shower). New facilities, power & water hook-up, a playground, free BBQ and a pool in the warmer months. Well done Coonalpyn, I'm sure this facility brings lots of people to your town.
