A historical location In the centre of town. No ticket required but everything is locked up.This used to be the actual Pine Creek Railway Station an Post Office. The Engine was used in the Australian movie We of the never never.Sufficient car parking with toilets in the park next door.

Lovely old place, they are trying to raise money to restore the trains and put hand rails on the steps for safety so the public can go on the trains again and have look around.

Have to love the history of the North Australia Railway, and The Commonwealth Railway, and the struggle it must have been building such a railway in the climate and conditions they endured, particularly when it was N.A.R. It is brilliant stuff, to say the least, that someone is taking the effort to preserve that history. Well done. Keep up the good work. Five Stars.
