Stay away, nick took our 50% deposit, left our back yard a mess, blocked our number, never installed anything and did the runner, we will be taking him to dept of fair trading to get back my deposit.Worst tradesman I’ve ever dealt with.STAY AWAY

Nick was professional from the first interaction to completion of the work. After initially dealing with several other companies who didn’t show up to appointment or respond to emails or phone calls, The Grass Bros are absolutely in a league of their own. Nicks communication, price, workmanship right down to ongoing advice and support was impeccable. I highly recommend using Nick @ The Grass Bros !

I must say, initially I was worried due to some negative comments on Google, however I was lucky, as a work colleague also used Nick and was very happy with his works. I would take some of these negative reviews with a pinch of salt. From the get go, Nick carried out what was said/quoted, on time and the outcome is fantastic, so happy I engaged Grassbros. Love my new backgarden. The grass looks so realistic and feels nice underfoot. Nick at the Grass Bros was easy to deal with, very professional and the price was great compared to other quotes I got. He’s turned what was wasted space in our courtyard into a fab new play area for my son. Highly recommend using them.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Unregistered, Unlicensed, Uninsured, and not Trade Certified!Nick Hale quoted on and provided samples of a quality synthetic grass from FieldTurf Australia, (Summer Prestige 40mm), but instead installed a generic cheap Chinese plastic looking grass. After he finished laying the grass the Summer Prestige sample mysteriously disappeared despite him leaving a bin full of off-cuts. When I initially queried him he argued it was the correct grass but admitted he had ordered from a different company which he had done so over a 100 times before. I took a sample of his grass to FieldTurf who, at a glance, confirmed it wasn't theirs. He then agreed to replace the grass with Summer Prestige but despite being patient and numerous attempts to contact him I've heard nothing further. He originally did send me a copy of his invoice from FieldTurf for the replacement grass but they have since confirmed that he cancelled that order. Grass Bros are both unprofessional and blatantly dishonest.I needed to pay a professional installer to fix his dodgy work and replace the grass with what I ordered in the first place. The contrast in the quality of work was huge. It now looks like something out of a House and Garden magazine. Despite paying for the job twice it was worth it to see it done properly where it adds value not takes away value from my home.I reported Nick Hale and the Grass Bros to the Dept of Fair Trading.He states in his reply that what he supplied was a perfectly acceptable alternative. Hopefully when he orders and pays for his next Mercedes they will deliver a perfectly acceptable Holden instead.PLEASE COME AND COLLECT YOUR TURF

Nick communicated well and sent texts with a link which would allow you to track his arrival. I have just bought an apt with a garden and he worked tirelessly to cut at least 4 metres off the top of the bamboo and re-turfed my lawn I was very pleased with the outcome! The grass was very fresh had only been cut that morning and he installed it very neatly. He also offers a complimentary first cut of the lawn in 6 weeks time. Definitely recommend.
